目录:Unit 3 Could you please tell me where the restrooms are ?知识点:《新目标英语》九年级全册第二,三单元的title也就是宾语从句的教学。
我们经常在教学宾语从句时感到无从下手,不知从哪切入,也不知如何调动学生的学习积极性。
根据自己所带班级学生的情况(学生整体基础有点差,学生不懂“宾语”这个概念),我用一组例句让先让学生明白宾语的含义,以及在句中哪些词可以充当宾语:We speak English. (名词作宾语) My parents love me.(代词作宾语) I like reading m agazines.(动名词作宾语) He wants to sing an English song.(动词不定式作宾语) 再用学生刚学过的一个句型导入宾语从句。
I think (that ) there will be more pollution in the future.(主语+谓语(及物动词)+宾语) 这只是教学宾语从句之前的准备。
接下来,我分三步教学宾语从句:一、先问学生一些问题, 再问其他的学生“what does he/she say?” “What did he/she say?”,最好问一些有趣的问题,或找一些他们喜欢的歌星或影星,让学生谈论他们的饮食起居,如“I know (that)Wei Chen is a popular singing star”.Yao Ming says (that) he is 2.26m tall.学生很容易就说出了一些宾语从句的句型,尽管有的学生在说的过程中不大注意宾语从句的时态问题,但这并不影响他们把自己的思想传递给大家,也未影响到大家对他们的理解,语言在这一活动中发挥了交流的功能作用。
接下来做一些操练,引导学生去掉引号,顺便告诉学生什么是直接引语,什么是间接引语。

宾语从句(二)
1.特殊疑问词引导的宾语从句
前一单元已经讲过引导词为that,if 或whether引导的宾语从句,及宾语从句的语序和时态,本讲主要讲述由特殊疑问句转变而来的宾语从句。
如果宾语从句是由特殊疑问句转变而来的,其引导词用原来的疑问词即可。
他们在宾语从句中充当一定的成分,故不能省略引导词。
如:Tom asked me,“when did you begin to study English?”=Tom asked me when I began to study English.
【口诀】陈述that 来引导,有时可以省略掉。
一般疑问句表“是否”,if或whether来引导。
特殊疑问句作宾从,疑问词连接就可行。
特别提醒:当引导词作宾语从句的主语或主语的定语时,宾语从句的语序等同于陈述句。
即:主句+引导词\引导词+名词+谓语+其他。
如:He didn’t know how many boys would come. Do you know who runs fastest?
2.宾语从句小结
在复合从句中,由一个句子充当宾语,这个句子叫做宾语从句。
引导宾语从句的常见引导词whether

1. 前通常加 the;表在某个方位,常介词 in。
如:He lives in the south (north). 他住在南(北)方。
【注】有时也不用冠词。
如:East or west, home is best. 东好西好不如自己的家好。
2. 表示“在……的东(南,西,北)”,通常应根据情况选用不同介词in(表示在范围之内),
to(表示在范围之外),on(表示毗连)。
如:
China is in the east of Asia. 中国位于亚洲的东部。
Mexico is to the south of the U. S. A. 墨西哥在美国以南。
China faces the Pacific on the east. 中国东临太平洋
3. 用作副词,其前不用介词,但有时其后可接介词短语。
如:
The village lies east of the woods. 村庄位于树林东面。
比较:The village lies to the east of the woods.
4. 汉语中说“东南西北”或“东西南北”,但在英语中却要说成north, south, east and
west(北南东西) 或 north, east, south and west(北东南西),也有人说 north, east, west and south(北东西南),该说法中各词的第一个字母合起来是 news(消息)。
【注】方位习惯与汉语完全相反:northeast(东北),southeast(东南),northwest(西北),southwest(西南)
