Nowadays,a social phenomenon--”left-behind children”has aroused public’s concern in China.Left-behind children are those of migrant workers who have remained in their hometowns whilst their parents work in the cities.It is becoming more and more general that we have to analyze and take measures to it.The generation of the phenomenon of left-behind children can be dated from two aspects.On the one hand,the poverty of the family forces parents to walk out of the countryside to the cities. On the other hand, urban and rural dual system has existed for a long time in China and "migrant workers" always receive unfair treatment in society.It makes the majority of farmers have no ability to take children into the cities together.The phenomenon of “left-behind children”must be put a high value because it will bring negative effects to the development of children’s mental health.Without parent’s care and company,children may feel lonely in the process of growth.They may think they are different from other children.As time passes,problems will pile up in their hearts and it will distort their minds gradually.So we must take some action to help them.I have some ideas about it.First of all,we must guide parents to pay more attention to their children’s education since parents are the first teacher of children.Secondly,we can make the use of the Internet to provide opportunities for parents and children to have facetime online.It may be a good way to share emotions with each other.In addition,we can organize some volunteers’teams.We can contact with children more often to understand what they really want.It may be effective to enlighten their st but not least,we can set up benevolence schools to offer a platform for children.They can play games and study with each other.In these ways,children will find the pleasure of life and study and become clearer and clearer little by little.Children are the future of our China.They should grow up happily and healthily.Hence,both parents and society should take the phenomenon of “left-behind”children seriously.Parents pay more care and love for children while the society gives more concerns to them.Only in that case can children have a whole childhood.。
