Passage 1

In most parts of the world, people like to take a break to

relax and enjoy life. Taking a vacation away from everyday life

can help reduce stress and improve mental health.

In the United Kingdom, a “stay-cation” is becoming

increasingly popular. A stay-cation is a vacation spent at home

or in a nearby destination. It’s usually much cheaper than

going abroad, and it’s a great way to explore your own area

without spending a lot of money.

There are many ways to enjoy a stay-cation. You can visit

local historical sites and museums, have a picnic in a nearby

park, or take a boat ride along the river. You can also visit

attractions such as theme parks, zoos, and aquariums.

You don’t even have to leave home to enjoy your stay-cation. You can rent movies and have movie nights, have a spa

day and pamper yourself, or relax in your own garden and read

a book. Stay-cations are becoming more popular because they’re

cheaper, more relaxed, and more convenient than traditional

vacations. So if you’re looking for a vacation that won’t break

the bank, a stay-cation might be the perfect solution!
