Unit 8 Buying clothes一、学情分析:从语言知识层面上看,五年级的学生对“服饰”这一主题已有了初步的认识,但他们的认识是片面的,大多数学生只知道一些服饰的名称,没有系统的认识。
从语言能力上看,五年级学生已初步形成用英语与他人交流的能力。
他们能描述什么天气需要穿什么衣服,谈论自己对服饰的喜好,并能就“购物”这一话题开展简单的对话。
由于购实衣服涉及到试穿、尺码等问题,学生并不熟悉,教师可以引导学生利用旧知带动新知的学习。
从情感态度价值观上看,五年级的孩子正处于青春期前期,他们越来越在意自己的外表,对于美的观念正慢慢形成,教师应引导他们形成正确的审美观。
二、教材分析:本单元是《英语五年级下册》Unit 8Buying clothes,在教材编排上属于Module 3Things we do,旨在提高学生“用英语做事情”的能力。
从话题上看,前几册教材已涉及了拥有什么服饰以及需要什么服饰的话题,本单元进一步延伸到购买服装的话题。
本单元教学设计将以服饰的分类作为切入点创设情境,让学生对Clothes这一主题有更系统全面的认识。
从知识点上看,Look and learn的核心词汇在前几册教材中已多次出现,考虑到学有余力的孩子,可补充四个常见的服饰词汇:jacket,jeans,sandals,boots。
本单元的核心句型是Which(pair of)..…do you like,the ..one or the ..one?选择疑问句在以前已出现过,为了丰富学生的语言,将结合本册第二单元的核心句型Why do you like it?Because..让学生进一步从颜色、款式、触感和价格等方面描述喜欢的原因,提高综合语言运用能力。
从内容上看,Listen and say 的对话涉及购买衣服的喜好。
我们将在原文基础上进行文本再构,让学生了解完整的服装购买流程,尽量接近现实生活中的语言使用情况。
