Teaching Design

I.Learning Needs Analysis (学习需要的分析)

学习科目:英语

现状

a可以传递信息并就熟悉的话题发表看法.

b能通过重复,举例和解释等方式澄清意思.

c能有条理地描述个人体验和表达个人的简介和想象.

d能用恰当的方式在特定场合表达态度和意思.

e能用英语进行简单的语言实践活动.

目标

a能在日常交际中队一般的询问和要求做出恰当的反应.

b能根据熟悉的话题,稍做准备后有条理地作简短发言.

c能就一般性话题进行讨论.

d能根据话题要求与人交流,合作,共同完成任务.

e能用恰当语调和节奏表达意图.

差距

a用英语表达信息时的准确性欠佳,即难以准确地用词和表达.

b难以熟练自如地运用英语于真实情景中,即在设定的情景中难以自如表达.

原因

a由于积累的不够,词汇和表达储备不足,导致不能准确用英语交流和表达.

b由于所学固定表达的欠缺,导致学生表达的欠准确甚至不会表达.

c有的学生性格内敛,或口语基础差,课堂开口次数少,"说"的动机弱.

II .Teaching Goals(教学目标)

A. Linguistic Goals(语言知识目标)

(a)Let the students learn to skim paragraph and think about the following questions after reading.

(b)Help the students learn some new words and phrases which are used for describing a person.

(c) Try to encourage the students to descried a person in English , especially with the learned

words and phrases.

(d) Improve the students' reading and speaking ability.

(e)Enhance the students' integrate skill to use English.

B. Thinking Ability Goals(思维能力目标)

(a)Let the students comprehend the passage and think of the questions after reading ;make sure

that the students can master the main idea after reading.

(b)Let the students participate the speaking activities fully and finish the given task by the teacher

through pair or group cooperating.

(c)Trough reading, speaking and thinking , make sure that all the students practice their ability of

integrate skill to use English.

C.Emotion Education Goals(情感教育目标)

本单元的中心内容讲述了一些中外卓有成就的女性以及她们所取得的各种成就.通过本单元的学习,学生首先可以激发自己的学习动力,尤其是女学生,因为这些伟大的女性给她们树立了榜样.同时一篇篇讲述这些伟大女性丰功伟绩的文章也是对中国传统思想中"重男轻女"倾向的一个强有力的反驳!

学生通过了解和学习这些女性可以总结出,她们的共同点不外乎两点:一是她们具有一颗"大爱心",爱人类,爱与人类共存和息息相关的自然界的生灵:二是她们都将毕生的心血倾注在服务他人贡献他人的事业中.

这样,学生既可以受到伟人的崇高人格魅力的熏陶,而且也会自觉地将这种影响灌注到自己日常的生活和学习中去.

III .Study Analysis (学习者情况分析)

A. 本课时的学习者为高中二年级的学生,他们普遍的英语"说"的能力起点为:

(a)可以传递信息并就熟悉的话题发表看法.

(b)能通过重复,举例和解释等方式澄清意思.

(c)能有条理地描述个人体验和表达个人的简介和想象.

(d)能用恰当的方式在特定场合表达态度和意思.

(e)能用英语进行简单的语言实践活动.

B. 从年龄来看:

高二学生普遍处于16至17岁,他们对周围事物比较敏感,有一定的社会经验.他们不满足于教科书上的知识,想获取更多的信息,在英语学习上,他们不想把英语当作一门死记硬背的课程来学,二是希望学到知识性和趣味性兼有的知识,从英语学习中获得更多的知识和能力.因此,英语课教学应该以新课标为基础,参考学生目前的认知水平,因材施教,激发学生通过体验,实践,讨论,合作和探究学习等方式学习,开发和利用课程资源,让知识从课堂走向课外,从书本走向实践.

IV .Teaching Contents(教学内容)

本着新课标和学生现有认知程度,本科将围绕一篇有关中国上世纪杰出女医生林巧稚的文章展开学习,通过"读"和"说"结合,提升学生综合运用英语语言的能力.

A Important Points(重点)

a .Ask the class skim the passage about Lin Qiaozhi ,knowing something about her life and her

great contribution to Chinese women and children .

b. Let the class think of the following questions carefully trough reading and thinking and try to

give the response.

c. Ask the students to describe a person in English in public.

B Difficult Points(难点)

a. How to describe a person with the proper words and expressions.

b. How to put the learned words and expressions to oral practice or authentic situations.

V .Teaching Strategy (教学策略)

A Teaching Order(教学顺序)

a. Warming up: Let the students enjoy a series of pictures which show some great women both

from China and foreign countries ,indicating that in this lesson we will learn something about Lin

Qiaozhi (林巧稚) __a great women doctor who lived in last century's China.

b. Let the students skim the short passage and then answer the following questions in pairs.

c. Let the students brainstorm some words and expressions to describe a person , during which the

teacher give proper directions and correctness .

d. Organize activities and encourage the students to take part in ,though which let them speak

freely and the teacher gives the proper correctness and directions.

e. The teacher gives the evaluation about the students' actions in class .

f. The teacher gives the related assignment by which the students enhance what they have learned

in class.

B Teaching Organization (教学组织形式)

Individual study , pair study and group study are all used in the lesson . C Teaching Methods(教学方法)

Both Task—based Language Teaching and Communicative Language Teaching methods are

used in the lesson..

D Learning Instructions(学法指导)

新制定的《英语课程标准》把"培养学生学习英语的兴趣,树立自信心,培养良好的学习习惯和形成有效策略,发展自主学习和合作精神"放在了首位.依据课改的精神,我从以下几个方面对学生进行学法指导.

a. 本节课将在课堂活动中把学生分成5——6人为一组的学习小组,让他们围绕着课堂任务分工合作,在活动中相互探讨,相互交流,相互合作,从而获得知识,技能和情感体验,发展他们的能力.创建开放式,探究式的课堂,有意识渗透学习策略的训练.

b.让学生在学习中借助课件里的影片,图片,音乐,图片等非语言信息进行理解和表达,让学生学会使用人之策略;

c. 让学生充分利用交流,表演等真实交际活动提高英语交际能力,在其过程中能借助手势,表情等非语言手段提高交际效果,能克服语言障碍,维持交际,实现交际策略.

d.引导学生利用网络资源,主动拓宽英语学习渠道,创造和把握学习英语的机会;积极参加,表演,调查,创作等英语活动,是调控策略的体现.

e.充分利用多媒体,校园网络,Internet, 录音,影片等是资源策略.
