标题“The Chinese Writing System: Connecting the Past and the Present”直接点明汉字连接中华的过去和现在的历史作用。
文本主要聚集在汉字与中华文明的关系上,选择了最重要的信息进行介绍,语言简明扼要,重点突出。
作者态度鲜明,开篇点题——中华文明能一直延续不断并传承至今,其中一个重要原因是汉字书写体系的发展与传承。
学生通过对汉字发展的介绍,树立起对我们的中华文明和中国文化走向世界的文化自信。
文本包含两条主要线索。
第一条是按时间顺序梳理了汉字书写体系数千年的发展历史,这是文本叙述的明线。

Ⅲ.学生情况分析所教班级学生为53人,学生的英文基础较为薄弱,体现在词汇量少,阅读水平弱等方面。
Ⅳ.活动分析活动1,让学生通过观看《汉字》英文短视频,让学生通过对视频的观看,了解到汉字的演变,以便学生能把视频和书中文本联结起来,能快速地将学生的注意力直接带入相关的话题。
活动2-4是阅读理解,在本活动中通过阅读寻找答案,预测、梳理、归纳、聚焦文本主要内容,形成并完善汉字书写体系的历史变迁的时间轴,推进信息的获取、梳理和归纳。
