The sequence of demonstrating one thing.3. Learn the language to encourage others.◆教学情景导入Hi, boys and girls. In our lives, we often talk about other people, other people often talk about us. Do you know about yourself ? Let us read the report of Li Ming and see how he is viewed by himself.◆教学过程设计Step 1. Let the students to have a look at the picture and guess. What is Li Ming doing? Ask the students to talk about.Step 2. Come to “Think About It!”. Divide the students into groups, discuss the questions. And then ask every group to give the dialogue in pairs in front of the class.Step 3. Listen to the tape with these following questions.T: Why does Li Ming say he is a good person? S: ……T: What is Li Ming good at? S: ……T: What’s Li Ming’s ambition? S: ……T: What did Ms. Liu ask Li Ming to do last week? S: ……Step 4. Read the text and then choose some students to read Li Ming’s report.Step 5. Ask the students to spot some words, phrases, expressions or sentence patterns that stand in the way of their understanding.
