年青人赶紧找来石匠，石匠与石头打了一辈子的交道，听的懂石头的语言。左看右看，石匠认定这就是智慧老人所说的孪生石，石匠和年轻人找来村子里的其他人费了很大的劲把石头搬到村里的庙里。 石匠用手摸摸孪生石，感觉右边的有灵性，有质感！问石头，你愿意做石佛吗？石头回答到“愿意”石匠“砰砰砸了几下！”右边石头说：太痛了。石匠说：肯定会痛。右边石头：为了成为石佛，我能忍受。石匠说：每凿一下，你就流出鲜血和汗珠，一天、二天、三天、十天……二十天，就在雕琢面部的最后期限，那块会凿的更痛。 从我记事起，我的母亲就像一台不知疲倦的机器，不分昼夜的运转，日复一日地在土地和家之间忙碌着。我穿的鞋子是她亲手缝制的，家里的蚊帐是她亲手纺制的，我们家的枕套、被套、鞋垫上面都有母亲绣制的图案，或花草、或飞禽、或走兽。可是，当时的我，完全没有体谅母亲的辛劳与付出，每天最期待的就是玩到饿的时候，看着家里的炊烟袅袅升起，然后听到母亲呼唤我的乳名，叫我回家吃饭。 小时候，我总是盼着快快过年，因为过年有荤菜吃，好的年景还有新衣穿，但母亲却始终穿着那件旧式蓝衫，只是补丁一年比一年多。那时候，家里穷，饭菜油水不多，每次吃饭，母亲总是把好一点的饭菜留给我们。她似乎没有任何食欲，我从来没有见过她对哪一种食品有特别的欲望，她总是默默地先尽孩子们享用，剩下的她随便吃一点。青黄不接时，晚餐就是喝点粥，不够分配，母亲自己就是喝点锅巴糊。我常听母亲说：“要是天天有饭吃，就是没有菜，我也能吃两碗。”直到现在，每当我想起母亲背对我们喝粥的背影，我的心就会痛，我的泪就会流。 在我的学生时代，母亲总是把嫂嫂和姐姐给她买的衣服或布料，改一改就给我穿上，还怕嫂嫂和姐姐有意见，总是说：“九满在外面冷，我在家里冷天有火烤，穿单薄点没关系。”但如果我找她要学费，她总是想方设法筹措，以满足我上学的基本需求，我永远忘不了一九八三年的那个暑假，母亲为了我的学费，出去又回来，回来又出去，转来转去焦急不安的身影，当我收拾行李时，我惊喜地看到母亲放在我衣服上的伍元钱。那时，常有人劝我母亲：“别让九满上学了，早点回来种田成家才是正事。”而母亲认定唯有让儿子上学，才能走出农村，才能彻底改变生活的命运，所以，无论有多大的困难，母亲都始终如一的支持我上学。我知道母亲的艰难，总是告诫自己：“一定要用功读书，将来考上大学，一定要让母亲过上好日子，以此来回报母亲无怨无悔的付出。”
