一、教学背景

3.课时:本单元第一课时
4.学生课前准备:
(1)预习生词,听磁带朗读课文
(2)学生通过百度搜索引擎 搜索Halloween相关资料

三、教学目标
1.语言知识目标
(1)能听得懂、会说、会读和会拼写单词need, a vase, mask, horse。
(2)能听得懂、会说、会读单词Halloween, else, tomorrow, pumpkin, lantern,
change。
(3)能听得懂、会读、会说句型What do you need? We need„ What else do you
need? We need…How much are they? They’re …yuan. Here’s your change.
2.语言能力目标
(1)能根据情景和图片说出单词。
(2)会读句型,并能用句型设置情景,自编对话。
3.情感态度目标
(1)多元化的学习过程中,自主学习。
(2)在任务型学习活动中能灵活应变,学会创造。
(3)在小组活动中,展示各成员的掌握运用语言的综合能力。
4.文化意识目标
了解万圣节的由来,西方国家过万圣节的常备物品,小孩子们怎样过万圣节的。 四、教材分析
A部分的主要内容是:Ben 的一家围绕万圣节而展开的准备工作,内容丰富、情节生动而且洋溢着生活的气息。通过本课的学习,学生要了解万圣节的日期,如何过万圣节及过万圣节需要的物品。学生在学习课文前,必需要对万圣节背景知识有所了解。教师要在教学中渗透文化意识。
课文由三部分组成:背景介绍――讨论万圣节所需物品――购买万圣节所需物品。学生在三、四年级时都学过有关购物的知识,所以我认为本节课的重点不在于购物环节,而在于了解万圣节的背景知识和讨论万圣节所需物品。教师首先和学生一起了解了万圣节的背景知识,然后实际地了解Ben的一家是怎样准备万圣节的。在阅读过程中教师注重培养学生的阅读理解能力,注重阅读方法的指导。
小学生对一切新奇的东西总是比较感兴趣的,万圣节是西方人的节日,在中国学生眼中颇为神秘和新鲜。学生在课前已经对本课进行系统的预习,在网上寻找了一些有关万圣节的资料。学生在三、四年级时都学过有关购物的知识,对于一些新单词,书后面有单词表,部分学生已经了解它的意思,便于了解课文大体意思,这对课堂教学有很大的帮助。和四年级相比,五年级的对话语篇增长,难度增加,对学生来说在阅读中可能不知道从何下手,通过本课的学习会有所帮助和提高。 五、教学方法
1、图片直观教学 :小学生对直观形象的图片比较感兴趣,教学中也便于教师操作。这样既加强外语操练机会,又能活跃课堂气氛,激发学生学习兴趣。
2、教师示范教学 :在学生对于对话操练方面,教师的示范作用很重要。可以帮助学生明确要求,起到参照的作用。因此在巩固阶段充分发挥了教师示范的作用,通过师生的对话示范,使其他学生明白操练的要求及形式,以便使学生能更好的完成任务。
3、拓展教学法 : 课堂教学不能完全停留在课本中,特别是语言教学。如果只采用书本上的情景,就会使学生的思维产生定势。因此,在操练关键句型的时候,教师可同时出现书上所没有的相同类型的图片,这样就可以使学生明白新授句型的多种用法,以后能灵活运用。
4、情景创设法 :学习英语最主要的目的就是要运用于实际,这样语言才能发挥它的作用。所以我们教师要在教学过程中给予学生充分的思维空间,为他们创设最贴近生活的情景,力求词不离句,句不离境。在本课中最后复习巩固部分要求学生用新学的单词和句型进行操练,编演对话,使语言的交际功能得到充分的体现。 六、教学过程
