系动词be后接可数名词单数形式或不可数名词时为is, 系动词be后接可数名词复数形式时为are。
e.g. There is some water in the bottle.there be句型的否定结构是“There is / are+not+某物 /人+地点”, 系动词be随其后名词的单复数的变化而变化。
