在问句中pandas用复数形式表示类别，在答句中，kind of“一点”= a little =abit，修饰形容词。

在问句中，要注意be动词和助动词形式，is…from…=does…come from…, are…from…= do…come from…。

原因状语从句，because引导原因，so“所以”，引导结果，在英文句子中“because”和“so”不能同时使用，要注意和汉语习惯的区别。

2.0Student analysis学情分析2.1 Fundamental State基本情况在第一课时的基础上学生已基本掌握了why和where引导的特殊疑问的问句与答语，用because引导答句，说明原因，在本单元的话题下because引导的从句几乎都是系表结构的句子。

在第一节听说课的反复操练下，学生已经比较熟悉该句型的用法，上口也较为熟练。

因此，本课时的学习任务比较轻松，大部分学生都能参与话题，拓展话题。

在语言输出的基础上，教师要把教学的重点落到归纳总结上，对本单元目标句型进行语法梳理，通过Grammar Focus的集中归纳向学生呈现重难点，强调语言结构，在3a、3b的任务中学生的语言学习输出由词过渡到句，最后在3c的任务中完成开放性的语言输出任务，在时间允许的情况下，可以让学生有书面的输出。

2.2 Knowledge Reserve知识储备学生通过前4个单元的学习，已经能熟练掌握一般现在时态，在本单元“谈论动物”、“谈论喜好”的话题下，通过第一课时的学习，学生已经储备了“Why…? Because….” “ Where are they from? They’re from…. ”的基本句型，在本课时的教学中要求学生能整合前面学习的内容，进行多个话轮的对话输出，并能理解梳理Section A部分的语法知识。

2.3 Class data本班实际本班学生有比较明确的学习目的，能够在小组活动中互相帮助，积极与他人合作，敢于用英语进行表达。

本课时为本单元的第二课时，主要对本单元第一课时所学话题目标语句进行梳理和巩固。

以谈论家里的宠物为切入点，呈现并复习基本语句“He’s very smart.” “Why don’t you like her? Because she’s kind of boring.”。

本课时主要通过grammar focus句型展示，让学生学会观察并分析，梳理出本单元目标句型的重难点，引导学生理解并掌握由“Why”引导的特殊疑问句的不同人称，肯定和否定句型的构成，夯实“Because”引导答语的语言知识。

同时呈现和学习程度副词kind of, very, really，a lot的基本用法。

教师应该尽量创设情景，拓展思路，必要时帮助学生用英语进行准确表达。

学习用单词、短语描述各种动物的特征，熟练运用What、W h y、Where引导的特殊疑问句询问和表达喜欢的动物是什么、为什么、地点在哪里。

通过学习，能掌握表示动物的名词和描述动物特征的形容词，学会使用情态动词can、must、一般疑问句、否定疑问句和祈使句来表达动物的外貌特征、习性、面临的处境和正确的做法，学会用能自主的去搜寻关于珍稀动物的资料，提高学生关心动物和爱护自然的认识。

学情分析本单元的主题是描述动物的外貌特征和谈谈自己的喜好，围绕这一主题进行一系列的交际活动，使学生正确使用What、W h y、Where 引导的特殊疑问句来询问并正确回答关于的动物的话题。

在对话操练的时候会使用许多形容词，可以回顾以前学过的单词。

并使用情态动词can、名词的复数形式以及单三形式表达动物的习性和生存环境，这些内容学生之前有接触过，但是有部分同学掌握的不是很好，所以要用对话操练的形式多加练习，达到巩固的目的。
