一、教材分析
本单元我们主要学习如何描述天气和谈论正在发生的事,围绕课文中的话题,学生将在教师的启发诱导下,结合生活实际,用己有的信息来促进本单元的学习。要求同学们能够掌握有关天气的词汇(raining windy cloudy sunny snowing )及相关句型(How’s the
weather in…? 和 What’s the weather like…? It’s… .),并围绕天气这一活动对人们所进行的活动进行对话。
二、学情分析
学生在第六单元已经学习了现在进行时,已经会简单描述人们正在做的事,本单元谈论正在发生的事是对上单元内容的巩固及提高,并且与天气相结合。学生有了一定的基础,并且对于天气这一话题也比较熟悉,感兴趣。
三、教学目标
(一)Knowledge goal(知识目标):
1. 要求学生掌握表示天气的词汇
rain, windy , cloudy, sunny, snow, weather , cook
2. 能用所学语言谈论天气(Describe the weather)
A: How’ s the weather in Beijing?
B : It’s sunny/ raining/ windy/ cloudy/ snowing.
3. 能简单的描述人们正在进行的活动(Describe what people are doing)
A: What are you doing ?
B: I’m watching TV.
(二)Ability goal(能力目标): 在教学过程中,培养学生们的听,说,读的能力。
(三)Emotional goal(情感态度目标):使同学们了解天气是“闲谈”(small talk)中的一项重要内容,了解世界各地不同天气及人们进行的不同活动,感受地域差异。
四、教学重点
How 引导的询问天气的特殊疑问句,描述天气状况的形容词,还有与天气相关的人们相应的即时活动。
教学难点
现在进行时中助动词be 和动词-ing 的正确使用。
五、教学步骤
1. Lead-in
T: Hello, everyone. Are you happy today? I’m very happy, because
the weather is great. This class, let’ s talk something about the
weather. Unit 7 It’s raining Section A(1a-2c) 【写板书 Unit Seven
It’s raining! SectionA(1a-2c)】
2. Learn the words and how to talk about the weather.
T: Do you know “ weather” ? Chinese meaning “天气”. Now look at
these match pictures. Do you know?【教师在黑板上画简笔画学习 sun/sunny rain/ rainy raining cloud/ cloudy snow/ snowy
snowing wind/ windy 并引出n.+y→adj.构词法】
T: Do you know how to ask the weather? We use “ How’ s the
weather? Or “ What’ s the weather like? The answer is “ It’s…” Just
like this “ How’ the weather ? It’s sunny.” Now I’d like you to make a
dialogue. 【教师在黑板上写出句型,并举例,然后让同学们来看黑板练习对话】
3. Play a game 【活动一】
T: Let’ s guess how’s the weather according to the things that Teddy
Bear bring.【请根据小熊所带的物品,猜天气】

4. Make a dialogue【活动二】
T: Tomorrow is Sunday. I’m going to this place. (出示北京图片). Do
you know where it is? Yes, it’s Beijing, the capital of China. And I
want to know the weather. I’ll ask “ How’s the weather in Beijng? It’s
sunny. Different cities have different weather. Let’s look at these
places and learn about the weather. 【出示Moscow, Toronto, Boston,
Shanghai 等地图片及天气标志】
T: Can you work in pairs and tell me the weather? (完成了1c)
5. Finish 1a and 1b.
T: Now open your books and turn to page 37. Let’s finish 1a. Match
the words with the pictures. Next, let’s finish 1b. Listen and write these city names in the boxes above. (完成1a 匹配,1b 听力)
6. Lead in the pictures in 2a,完成2c.(活动三)
T: If I go to Beijing tomorrow. I’ll visit my friend “Linda”. Look at
the picture , let’s see what Linda’s family members doing. Work in
pairs.
Pair work : A: What’s Aunt Sally doing?
B: She’ s cooking. (讲解一下cook一词,并运用现在进行时做对话)
7. Listening.
T: All of you have done perfect jobs. Now let’s finish 2a. Listen and
number the pictures 【1-4】
OK. Listen again. Match the names with the activities. (完成2a,2b)
8. Relax ourselves.
T: Are you tired? Let’s play a game to relax ourselves.(设计砸蛋游戏)
