2. 教材分析和整合1)本节课为八年级上Unit 10 I’m going to be a basketball player的第一节新授课。
教材要求学生掌握与职业有关的新词汇以及一般将来时be going to 的用法2)七年级(下)第四单元的教学内容是用I want to be a…的结构谈论职业,故本单元是在内容和语法上的拓展和深入。
3)本课为Section A的第一课时,教材给学生提供了三个使用目标语言的句子:What are you going to be? How are you going to do that? 以及Where are you going to do it?将三个问题结合起来,就是一个对于未来职业比较全面的描述。
学生对于能够表达实际愿望的话题有很高的热情,因此,我将2a和2b的听力练习整合为口语练习,为学生提供更多的表达机会。
并将3a处理为略读材料,为最后的survey和report提供模板。
第三课时Section B (1a—1d)教学目标通过本课的学习,学生能够:1.获取和梳理本课听力材料中俱乐部经纪人和Michael父母对于Michael加入足球俱乐部各种选择结果的预测,由此深入理解if从句的使用;在语境中理解、使用相关的习惯用语和固定搭配;理解并掌握本课时重点词汇:travel around the world、be famous、go to college、be happy、make a lot of money和get an education 等。

Why:听力材料通过对话形式讨论了Michael加入足球俱乐部的未来结果,让学生了解到未来职业选择需要考虑到的因素是多方面的,树立学生职业规划意识,并能够合理给出他人建议。
