六年级下册第二单元英语作文,五句话全文共6篇示例,供读者参考篇1My teacher told us we have to write an essay about what we did over the winter break for our English class and it has to be 2000 words long which is a lot of words I have never written something that long before but I will try my best. The first thing I did over break was go with my family to visit my grandparents in Florida it was really warm there and sunny every day which was nice because back home it is really cold and snowy in the winters my little brother kept trying to go to the beach but the water was too cold for swimming so we just walked along the beach and collected seashells. On Christmas day we opened a lot of presents at my grandparents' house and I got a new bike and a video game I had been wanting my brother got some new toys too but he is still young so he was probably more excited about the boxes everything came in than the actual presents. After New Year's we went to Disney World which was SO MUCH FUN I had been there once before when I was little but this time I was tall enough to go on all the biggest roller coasters like Space Mountain and Expedition Everest they were extremely fast andloopy but not actually scary just a huge adrenaline rush. My favorite part might have been the nighttime fireworks show at Cinderella's Castle it was beautiful with so many bright colors lighting up the whole park and I tried to count how many fireworks were going off but quickly lost track because there were so many all at once it was magical to watch. That was my winter break in a few sentences going to the beach in Florida celebrating Christmas and New Year's with my family and going to Disney World to ride the roller coasters and see the fireworks I had so much fun and cannot wait for spring break when we might get to go somewhere exciting again.篇2Wow, you want me to write a really long essay about the second unit from my English textbook this semester, and it has to be in English too! Okay, let me think really hard and try my best - I love writing stories and using all the new vocabulary words we've learned. This unit was all about describing different places around the world, so I'll tell you an adventurous story using lots of detailed descriptions and maybe you can guess where it's taking place. Ready? Here goes...Sentence 1: Last summer, my family and I went on an incredible trip to a fascinating country that was nothing like our quiet little townback home - it was a vast land full of breathtaking natural wonders, from endless sandy deserts dotted with gorgeous oasis towns, to massive rocky mountains towering high into the cloudless sky, to lush green rainforests teeming with exotic animals and plants I'd never seen before in my life!Sentence 2: Our journey began when we arrived at the main airport, which was this gigantic modern building with huge glass windows allowing sunlight to pour in from all angles, making the polished marble floors gleam so brightly it was like walking on an ice rink - I was totally in awe just taking in the spectacular architecture, with those soaring arched ceilings held up by lots of sculpted columns, and interesting works of art everywhere you looked celebrating the country's rich cultural heritage. Sentence 3: From there, we traveled for miles and miles through the desolate desert, with nothing around us but rolling golden sand dunes as far as the eye could see, shimmering and shifting shapes in the intense heat which made everything seem to wiggle like it was a mirage - it felt like we had been transported to another planet altogether, until finally after hours of driving we caught our first glimpse of a tiny dot on the horizon that turned out to be a real-life oasis town, with lush date palm trees clustered around sparkling springs and traditional mud-brick houses topped with those distinct curved roofs.Sentence 4: We only stayed there for a couple days before moving on to explore the craggy, majestic mountain ranges, where we got to go hiking up narrow rocky paths and discover all sorts of fascinating historical sites tucked away in secret valleys, like ancient abandoned cliff dwellings and cave paintings left behind by the earliest inhabitants telling stories through vibrant colors and symbols about their daily lives and beliefs from so many generations ago - it was like travelling back in time as we admired those priceless glimpses into the past. Sentence 5: Then towards the end of our trip, we made our way into the depths of a lush rainforest, where the whole atmosphere just felt magical and untamed, with those towering trees blotting out the sky forming a dense green canopy far above our heads, while exotic birds and monkeys chattered all around us and strange bugs and amphibians scampered across the spongy earth below our feet - I've never experienced anything quite like being surrounded by such a rich, verdant paradise absolutely overflowing with life in every direction you turned your head!篇3Summer Vacation FunSummer vacation is the best time of the year! No school, no homework, just fun in the sun. This summer, I went on anawesome adventure with my family. We drove five hundred miles to a beach town called Seaside Cove. It took forever to get there, but it was so worth it!When we finally arrived, I could smell the salty ocean air as soon as I stepped out of the car. The bright sun was shining down, and there was a cool breeze blowing. I could hear the waves crashing against the shore in the distance. I was so excited to see the beach! We stayed at this really cool beachfront hotel. Our room had a balcony with an amazing view of the ocean. You could see the whole beach and boardwalk area from up there. Every morning, I would wake up early and watch the sunrise over the water. The colors were just incredible - bright oranges, pinks, and purples painting the sky. Simply breathtaking.Of course, I spent most of my days on the beach itself. I made so many sandcastles and collected a bunch of pretty seashells. My brother and I had swimming contests to see who could swim out the farthest. The water was freezing at first, but after a while, it felt refreshing. We also rented boogie boards and rode the waves. That was my favorite part!On the boardwalk, there were all kinds of fun shops, restaurants, and games. We went mini golfing a few times. Icame in last every round, but it didn't matter because I was having a blast. We ate ice cream pretty much every night while watching the sunset. Those moments were pure magic.Overall, this was one of the greatest vacations ever. The beach was like paradise. I made so many wonderful memories that I'll never forget. Playing in the ocean, building sandcastles, watching the sunrises and sunsets - I can't wait to go back to Seaside Cove again next summer. I'm already counting down the days!篇4My Summer Vacation AdventureSummer vacation is the best time of the year! Last summer, I had the most exciting adventure ever. It all started when my parents told me we were going to travel to a different country. I was so thrilled! We were going to visit my aunt and uncle who live in Australia. When we finally arrived in Australia after a really long flight, the first thing I noticed was how different everything looked. The houses, the cars, even the trees and plants looked unique. My aunt and uncle gave us a warm welcome and took us to theirhome in a place called Perth. Their house was lovely, with a big backyard and a swimming pool! I couldn't wait to explore. The next day, we went to this incredible place called Rottnest Island. It's a small island just off the coast of Perth, and you have to take a ferry to get there. On the ferry ride over, we saw loads of dolphins swimming in the ocean! When we arrived on Rottnest, I was amazed by the bright white sandy beaches and the incredibly blue water. Our first stop was to rent bikes, since that's how everyone gets around on the island. I had so much fun riding my bike all around and stopping at the different bays and beaches. The best part was seeing the cutest animals ever - the quokkas! They are extremely friendly little marsupials that hop around everywhere. I took about a million pictures with them. After Rottnest Island, we went on some more amazing adventures around Western Australia. We went swimming with wild dolphins in Rockingham, saw the stunning Pinnacles rock formations in the desert, wandered through the impressive Mammoth Cave, and even got to go sand boarding down massive sand dunes! Every day was filled with new and exciting activities. I tried so many different Australian foods like meat pies, Vegemite (which was a little weird at first!), pavlova, and of course loads of fresh seafood. My favorite day might have been when we went to Caversham Wildlife Park. It's a huge park where you can get up close with all sorts of Australian animals like kangaroos, wallabies, wombats, koalas, and even a Tasmanian devil! I got to feed the kangaroos right out of my hand and even pet a koala. It was without a doubt the best summer vacation I've ever had. I made so many incredible memories, tried new things, and got to experience a fascinating culture. I can't wait until our next big family adventure!篇5My Summer Vacation was the Best Ever! (1) This past summer, I had the most amazing, super fun, awesome time ever!(2) My family and I went on a huge trip to Hawaii for two whole weeks and it was like being in paradise. (3) We swam in the bright blue ocean, went snorkeling to see all the pretty fish, built giant sandcastles on the beach, and hiked up a volcano! (4) The best part was when we went on a dinner cruise around the island and I got to see dolphins jumping out of the water. (5) I never wanted that incredible summer vacation to end because it was just so exciting and amazing! It was early July when we left on our big adventure to Hawaii. My little brother and I could hardly contain our excitement as weboarded the plane. After a really long flight, we finally arrived at our hotel right on the beach in Maui. The ocean looked even bluer and prettier than in any pictures I had ever seen before! We spent our first few days just relaxing and playing in the warm water and soft sand. My brother and I built this massive sandcastle that was taller than both of us. We used buckets to make the turrets and dug a huge moat all around it. Unfortunately, the tide came in later and washed it all away. But we didn't even care because we were having too much fun swimming and bodyboarding in the waves.About halfway through our trip, we went on this awesome snorkeling expedition. We had to go on a boat to get to the snorkeling spot further out from shore. Putting on all the snorkeling gear was funny with the masks and breathing tubes. But then we jumped into the incredibly clear blue water and I was amazed at all the tropical fish everywhere! There were angel fish, clown fish, parrot fish, and so many other bright, colorful fish I had never seen before. I even saw a sea turtle slowly gliding through the water. It was like being in the middle of an aquarium! My favorite activity was when we hiked up a volcano called Haleakala. Our tour guide taught us so many interesting factsabout how volcanoes are formed by molten lava. We got to see the huge crater at the summit filled with ancient lava rock. From the top, we had an epic view of the entire island of Maui down below. The crater almost looked like it could be on the moon it was so craterish and rocky. I felt like a real explorer conquering the volcano! The most memorable night was when we went on a sunset dinner cruise around the whole island. The cruise ship was so fancy with a buffet of prime rib, lobster, and my favorite foods. We ate out on the deck as we watched the bright orange and red sunset over the ocean. It was breathtakingly beautiful. Then, we saw some dolphins swimming and jumping right next to the boat!I had never seen real dolphins before except at aquariums. Seeing them freely jumping out of the ocean waves was incredible. Those two weeks in Hawaii went by way too fast. I was so sad to leave behind the amazing beaches, snorkeling spots, and volcanoes. I had the time of my life! As soon as we got home, I started begging my parents to take us back to Hawaii again next summer. Maybe we could even visit some of the other Hawaiian islands too. I already can't wait for my next awesomesauce summer vacation!篇6My Summer Vacation AdventuresYay, summer vacation was finally here! No more waking up super early or staying late after school. I was really excited because my family was going on an awesome trip to California. We were going to go to Disneyland, see some pretty beaches, and even go camping. I couldn't wait! The first stop on our trip was Disneyland. Oh my gosh, it was the most amazing place ever! We went on sooooo many rides like Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, and the Haunted Mansion. My favorite ride was probably Indiana Jones, it was a runaway mine cart that went really fast and jerked you all around.I screamed so loud! We also got to meet lots of Disney characters like Mickey, Minnie, Donald Duck, and Goofy. They gave us big hugs and we took lots of pictures with them. I'll never forget the time I spent at the happiest place on Earth. After a few days at Disneyland, we drove over to the beach. The beaches in California are gorgeous, with long stretches of soft golden sand and beautiful blue-green ocean water. We stayed right near Santa Monica beach and I loved playing in the waves and making sand castles. One day we even saw a family ofdolphins swimming really close to the shore! My mom took a million pictures of them jumping out of the water. We rented beach cruiser bikes one day too and rode along the path next to the beach. That was really fun but I got super sore from pedaling! The last part of our trip was going camping in Yosemite National Park. I was a little nervous about camping because I hadn't done it before, but it turned out to be awesome! We hiked up to this pretty waterfall and swam in the pool at the bottom. The water was icy cold but felt amazing on such a hot day. At night, we made s'mores around the campfire and watched the stars come out. I saw a couple of shooting stars too which was really cool. We saw lots of wildlife like deer, squirrels, and even a bear from pretty far away. Yosemite was breathtaking with the huge granite cliffs, tall trees, and all the nature surrounding us.I had such an incredible summer this year. We did so many fun activities and made memories that will last forever. Even though it's sad that vacation is over, I'm excited to go back to school and see all my friends again. I can't wait to tell them all about my amazing summer adventures when we have to write about what we did over the break. This was easily one of the best summers ever!。
