at work, he's there waiting for me at the door, his tail

One of my favorite things to do with Max is go for
walks in the park. He loves to chase squirrels and sniff
around in the bushes. Sometimes he'll even find a hidden
treasure, like a discarded tennis ball or a bone. It's
always a joy to see him so happy and carefree.
But it's not all fun and games with Max. He's also a
great protector. One night, when I heard a strange noise
outside, Max was the first to investigate. He stood at the
door, growling softly, ready to defend his territory. It
turned out to be just a raccoon rummaging through the trash,
but I felt safe knowing Max was there to watch over me.
