1. Teach the new words: hamburger、cola、dollar、cent、enjoy

T: Look at the blackboard, where are they?

Ss: They’re in KFC.

T: Good. Have you been to KFC before?

S1: Yes. I like the ice cream there.

T: What other food in KFC?

S2: Hamburger.

T: Yes, we also have cola, chips there.

Now these two words are our new words:

hamburger, cola

T: But how to pay for the bill?

Ss: We can use WeChat Pay.

T: Yes, you’re very clever. But if you don’t

take a phone with you, how to pay for the

bill?

T: Yes, we can use money(cash). In China,

we use yuan, but in the USA, people use

dollars or cents.

T: hamburger, cola, dollar, cent these words

are new words. Let’s read it together.

read and match the translation and the
