I have been to Mount Huang with my parents. It's a beautiful place. But there were so many people

Trees can stop the wind from blowing the earth away. 树木可以防风固土。

And a lot of water can be saved by forests. 并且森林可以贮存大量的水分。

They can also stop the water from washing the earth away. 树木也能防止水土流失。

A. Analysis of the material

This lesson is about English around the world. It enables the students

to know the differences between American English and British English.

English is spoken in many countries throughout the world and many of

them have different forms of expression. This lesson aims to open a

window for students to learn the differences of the same language.

B. Teaching aims

1Knowledge aims: (1)Let students master the usages of the words and expressions.

(2)Learn the differences between British English and American

English.

2 Ability aims:

(1)Practice the four skills, especially reading ability.

(2) Learn to deal with the difficulties in language communication
