China Has So Many Cool Places to Visit!

Hey there! My name is Xiaoming and I'm going to tell you all

about some of the awesome places you can visit in China. There

are so many fascinating historical sites and beautiful scenic areas.

Get ready to be amazed!

Let's start with the Great Wall of China. This incredible wall

snakes across the mountains of northern China for thousands of

miles! It was built a really, really long time ago to protect ancient

Chinese empires from invaders. Isn't that crazy? You can actually

walk along portions of the Great Wall. I went with my family and

it was an unforgettable experience. The views from up on the

wall are breathtaking. You feel like you're on top of the world!

Another must-see is the Forbidden City in Beijing. This was

Let's take a look back at the ancient times. The Four Great Inventions

of China - paper-making, gunpowder, printing, and the compass - have had

an immeasurable impact on the progress of the world civilization. Paper-making provided a medium for the dissemination of knowledge;

gunpowder changed the way of warfare; printing facilitated the spread of

ideas; and the compass guided explorers to new horizons.

Now, let's turn to our traditional festivals. The Spring Festival, for

instance, is a time of joy and reunion. Families come together, houses are

decorated with red lanterns and couplets. Fireworks light up the night sky,

Hello everyone! Today, I'm going to tell you a really cool

story from China. It's called "The Legend of the Monkey King".

Have you heard of it before? Well, let me tell you all about it!

Once upon a time, in ancient China, there was a mischievous

monkey who was born from a stone on a magical mountain. He

was full of energy and had special powers, like being able to

change his shape and size at will. This monkey had a name – Sun

Wukong, but he was better known as the Monkey King.

The Monkey King was always causing trouble and playing

pranks on the other creatures of the mountain. But one day, he

heard about a powerful weapon called the "Ruyi Jingu Bang" that

belonged to the Dragon King of the Eastern Sea. The Monkey

King decided that he wanted this weapon for himself, so he set

从前，海边住着一个渔夫，他每一天都出海打鱼，早出晚归，风雨无阻。奇怪的是，他每一天都空手而归，连一条鱼都不曾抓到。其他渔夫很纳闷，别人都能捞到鱼，为什么他连一条鱼都捞不到

这一天，渔夫又要出海打鱼了，一个好心的渔夫劝他：“这天你和我一齐出海吧，我帮你打些鱼回来，你也顺便跟我学学怎样打鱼。”渔夫听了哈哈大笑，说：“你懂什么，你们每一天打的鱼虽然很多，但是我只要捞到那个宝贝，以后就不用再当渔夫了。”那个好心的渔夫不解地问：“宝贝大海里有什么神奇的宝贝吗”渔夫小声说：“据说阿拉丁丢失的神灯就在这片海域，我要是能捞到阿拉丁神灯，就能拥有一切!”好心的渔夫最后明白了：难怪这个渔夫捞不到鱼，原先他的心思根本就不在打鱼上。好心的渔夫指向大海，说：“茫茫大海，一望无际，我劝你还是先捞些鱼填饱肚子，再捞神灯吧!”

渔夫根本听不进去，独自驾着小船出海了。渔夫撒下渔网，期望这次能如愿以偿地捞到神灯，但是他捞上来的是一条小白鲨。正当渔夫失望之际，小白鲨居然开口说话了：“哇，我最后又回到陆地上了!你好!谢谢你救了我，我是阿拉丁神灯。”刹那间，小白鲨变回了阿拉丁神灯的模样。阿拉丁神灯为了感谢渔夫的救命之恩，将渔夫的小船变成了一艘大船。

它对渔夫说：“这艘大船是我感谢你的小礼物。我在这片海待了三年，两年前救我的人能够实现三个愿望，一年前救我的人能够实现两个愿望，这天你救了我，我能够实现你的一个愿望!”贪心的渔夫想：如果我有一百个阿拉丁神灯，不就能够实现一百个愿望了吗于是他立刻说：“我的愿望是要一百个阿拉丁神灯!”他的话音刚落，一百个阿 2 拉丁神灯果然出此刻了他的面前。

渔夫把一百个阿拉丁神灯装进了他的大船里，然后开心地驾驶着大船回到了港口。所有的渔夫都过来看这个渔夫的大船，大家羡慕极了，纷纷夸渔夫能干，只有那个好心的渔夫站在远处没有过来。

渔夫得意地对大家说：“我此刻拥有了一百个阿拉丁神灯，想要什么就有什么!”说完，他拿出一盏阿拉丁神灯，指着海边停泊的一条小船念道：“阿拉丁神灯，小船变大船。”但是过了很久，那条破破烂烂的小船还是没有一点儿变化。渔夫又拿了几个神灯做实验，仍然没有任何变化。这时，天空中传来阿拉丁神灯的声音：“贪婪的渔夫，你的那一百个阿拉丁神灯都是山寨货，这是对你贪心的惩罚，那条大船也即将变回小船，你将和从前一样，还是一无所有。”神灯的话音刚落，大船就变回了以前的小船……
