You can start your essay with the sentence "The use of translation apps is becomging increasingly popular. " You should write at least 120 words but no more than 180 word.范文:The use of translation apps is becoming increasingly popular. Why? Admittedly, in the contemporay society, an increasing number of people, with the help of translation apps, find it convenient to read foreign literature or essays. On the one hand, these apps can bring users greater efficiency and help them save more time or energy, particularly for those who have no knowledge of a foreign language. For instance, a host of people may have a variety of difficulties or troubles in learning English, but with the assistance of these apps, it will not be difficult for them to read and understand English materials. On the other hand, it is these apps that cuase some learners to lose motivation for studying. With Apps in hand, they are not willing to do their utmost to memorize new words, pratice speaking or writing skills every day. Fianlly, they will fail to get a good command ofany foreign language.I, as a college student, deem that it is of great necessity for youngsters to use translations apps in a rational way. We should bear in mind that any translation app is merely a tool. Provided that one intends to master a foreign language, it is advisabel to practice each day instead of relying on translation apps.2、Directions: For this part, you are allowed 30 minutes to write an essay commenting on the importance of making plans. 2014年天津高考英语作文As an AI, I don't have access to past exam papers or specific content unless it's provided to me. However, I can certainly help you draft a sample essay that could fit the style and expectations of a 2014 Tianjin high school English exam composition. Let's assume the topic is a common one that might have been used in such an exam, such as "The Importance of Environmental Protection."In today's world, the environment is facing numerous challenges, from climate change to pollution and deforestation. As high school students, it is our responsibility to understand the importance of environmental protection and to take action to preserve our planet for future generations.Firstly, protecting the environment is crucial for maintaining the balance of ecosystems. Every species plays a vital role in the ecosystem, and the loss of any species can disrupt the balance, leading to unforeseen consequences. For instance, the extinction of bees could lead to a collapse in pollination, which would affect the growth of plants and food production.Secondly, environmental protection is essential for humanhealth. Pollution from factories, vehicles, and other sources can lead to respiratory problems, skin diseases, and other health issues. By reducing pollution and promoting clean energy, we can improve air quality and safeguard the healthof our communities.Thirdly, protecting the environment is an investment in our future. Sustainable practices in agriculture, forestry, and manufacturing can lead to long-term economic benefits. We can start by reducing waste, recycling, and conserving energy in our homes and schools. 以科技为桥,连接未来教育In the rapidly evolving world of technology, the integration of digital tools into education has become increasingly important. The potential of these tools to enhance learning experiences and prepare students for the future is immense. This integration, however, is not without its challenges, particularly in ensuring that all students have equal access to these resources.Firstly, the benefits of technology in education are numerous. Digital tools such as online platforms, interactive software, and virtual reality simulations can engage students in a more active and immersive learning process. They provide opportunities for personalized learning, where students can work at their own pace and in areas of interest, thus fostering a more autonomous approach to education. Additionally, technology can help bridge the gap between theory and practice, allowing students to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts. Despite these benefits, however, there are significant challenges in ensuring equitable access to technology in education. One of the main obstacles is the digital divide, which refers to the unequal distribution of technology resources across different communities. This divide can be attributed to factors such as economic disparities, infrastructure limitations, and cultural barriers. As a result, students from disadvantaged backgrounds may lackthe necessary tools and resources to fully participate in digital learning environments. To address these challenges, it is crucial to implement inclusive strategies that ensure equal access to technology for all students. Governments and educational institutions should prioritize the provision of technology resources, particularly in underserved areas. This could involve investing in infrastructure such as high-speed internet access and providing devices such as laptops or tablets to students in need. Moreover, it is important to recognize that technology integration should not be a one-size-fits-all approach. Different students have different learning styles and needs, and it is crucial to tailor technology use to meet these individual differences. This could involve offering a rangeof digital tools and resources that cater to different learning preferences and abilities. In conclusion, the integration of technology into education holds the promise of enhancing learning experiences and preparing students for the future. However, to fully harness this potential, it is essential to address the challenges of equitable access and ensure that all students have the opportunity to benefit from these resources. By implementing inclusive strategies and recognizing the need for personalization, we can build a more equitable and inclusive education system that leverages the power of technology to its fullest extent.**科技为桥,连接未来教育**在科技日新月异的时代,数字工具在教育中的融入变得愈发重要。
2019年6月天津高考英语作文In June 2019, the national college entrance examination, also known as the Gaokao, took place in Tianjin, China. As one of the most important exams for Chinese high school students, the Gaokao attracts great attention from both students and their families. In this article, we will explore the significance of the Gaokao, the challenges it presents, and the impact it has on students' lives. The Gaokao is a comprehensive examination that tests students' knowledge in various subjects, including Chinese, mathematics, English, and other elective courses. It is often considered a make-or-break moment for students, as their performance in the exam determines their future educational opportunities. The results of the Gaokao are used by universities as the primary criterion for admissions, making it a crucial step towards higher education.Preparing for the Gaokao is a demanding and intense process. Students spend years studying and reviewing the curriculum to ensure they are well-prepared for the exam. The competition is fierce, as thousands of students vie for limited spots in top-tier universities. This pressure can lead to immense stress and anxiety among students, who often experience sleepless nights and high levels of academic pressure.Despite the challenges, the Gaokao also offers opportunities for personal growth and development. The rigorous preparation process teaches students discipline, perseverance, and the ability to handle pressure. It encourages students to set goals, manage their time effectively, and develop effective study strategies. These skills are not only valuable for success in the exam but also in their future academic and professional pursuits. The Gaokao also has a significant impact on students' lives beyond academics. The results of the exam can determine the course of their future careers and even their social status. Getting a high score in the Gaokao is often seen as a source of pride and accomplishment, not only for the students themselves but also for their families and communities. It opens doors to prestigious universities and better job opportunities, providing a pathway to a brighter future. However, the emphasis on the Gaokao has also sparked debates about its fairness and the undue pressure it places on students. Critics argue that the exam places too much emphasis on rote memorization and fails to assess students' creativity and critical thinking skills. They believe that the current system limits students' potential and stifles their individuality. Efforts have been made to reform the Gaokao, with some universities considering alternative admission criteria that take into account students' overall performance and talents. In conclusion, the Gaokao is a significant event in the lives of Chinese high school students. It represents an opportunity for academic achievement, personal growth, and future prospects. However, it also brings immense pressure and raises questions about its fairness and effectiveness. As the educational landscape continues to evolve, it is important to strike a balance between academic rigor and holistic development, ensuring that students are given the best opportunities to succeed and thrive.。

Phew, I get tired just thinking about it!The competition had several different rounds that the students had to get through. First, there were the university-level preliminaries where the best students from each school were chosen. Then those winners went on to the provincial finals. Imagine how nervous those students must have been, trying their best English in front of so many people and judges! After the provincial finals, only the cream of the crop was left - the elite business English masters from each province. Those lucky students got to go to the dream destination of every business person: Beijing! They competed in the intense national finals round to decide who would be the champions. When I grow up, I hope I can be as good at English as those students. The judges said some of them spoke like they were born in London or New York! They used all the proper vocab for marketing, finance, management, you name it. The winners musthave studied business English night and day to get that good. Maybe they're secret geniuses?Anyway, I probably shouldn't keep you waiting any longer. You're dying to know who won, right? Well, the champions of the whole competition were...the team from Guangdong University of Foreign Studies! Can you believe those Guangdong students beat out all the other genius kids from across China? They Must have been absolutely brilliant.Second place went to the team from the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing. They battled hard but just couldn't quite catch the Guangdong team. I'll bet they're already studying even harder for next year though! The bronze medal went to the team from Shanghai International Studies University. Just making it to the national finals in Beijing is an incredible achievement, so they should be proud winners too!But that's not all - there were lots of other awards too. Like the award for best business plan, which went to a student from Zhejiang University of Finance and Economics. And the award for best business presentation, which a student from Nankai University won. There were even some fun awards for things like best business creativity and best professional dress and poise. I'll betone of those winners looked slick in their suit and tie! The judges said they had more poise and confidence than some real business people.Overall, it sounded like the most amazing event. I can't wait until I'm older so I can enter competitions like that one. With any luck, maybe I'll even make it to the national finals in Beijing one year! A kid can dream, right? Those are the winners of this year's National University Business English Competition. Definitely give them a big round of applause - they all worked incredibly hard to get that good at business English. Who knows, maybe some of them will be running huge international companies one day! I'll be sure to tell you all about next year's competition winners too. Speak to you then!篇3Yay! The Big Business English Contest is over and the winners were just announced! I'm so excited to share the news with all my friends. This was a really important competition for college students who want to work in business one day. Theyhad to know all about business vocabulary, writing emails and letters, giving presentations, and stuff like that. The winners get prizes and it looks great on their resumes when they apply for jobs later! The first place winner is Jenny Wang from Capital University of Economics and Business in Beijing. Wow, she must be really smart! I heard she got a perfect score on the test. As the number one winner, she gets 10,000 yuan (which is like a bajillion dollars to a kid like me!). She also gets an internship at an international company next summer. How cool is that?!In second place is Michael Li from Fudan University in Shanghai. He's getting 8,000 yuan as his prize. Not too shabby! I wonder what he'll spend it on. Maybe some new video games? Michael also gets to go on an overseas study trip for two weeks. I'm crazy jealous of that prize. I want to travel the world when I grow up.The third place winner is Lily Chen from Xi'an Jiaotong University. She'll receive 5,000 yuan and get her choice of a business English reference book set or language learning software. Books or software...hmm I'm not sure which prize is better. I'd probably pick the software though, because then I could play language games on my tablet! There were also lots of other winners from universities all across China. Like Cao Fang from Nanjing University who won fourth place. And Zhu Mei from Wuhan University who was one of the finalists. They all worked so hard and it paid off!I wonder if I'll ever have to learn tons of business English vocab words like "negotiation", "marketing", and "revenue" when I'm older. It sounds kind of boring to me right now. I'd much rather learn fun words like "waterslide", "lollipop", and "trampoline"! But who knows, maybe business will be my calling after all. Anything's possible when you put your mind to it!For now though, I'm just really happy for all the winners. I can't wait to tell my classmates about this contest tomorrow at school. We can all discuss who had the coolest prizes and dream about one day being business champions ourselves. Well, maybe not all of us. Rui has always been way more interested in becoming a zookeeper or firetruckdriver. But the rest of us future CEOs and marketing experts will definitely be talking about it!Congratulations again to everyone who competed and biiiiig shoutouts to the top 3 winners - Jenny, Michael, and Lily! You worked harder than anyone and totally deserved this incredible honor. I know it'll lead to awesome opportunities and achievements in the years ahead. Yay yay yay!篇4The Big Win at the Business English ThingyHi everyone! I'm gonna tell you all about the super cool Business English Competition that happened a little while ago. My big sister Lily was one of the winners and she's, like, the smartest person ever when it comes to business words in English.I was so excited for her!The competition is called the National College Business English Knowledge Competition. That's a really long name, so I'll just call it the "Business English Thingy" to make it easier. Lily had to study soooo much to get ready for it. She was always reading these massive books filled with crazy words I can't even pronounce. But she worked really hard because she dreams of running her own company one day and needs to know all the business lingo. There were students from universities all across the entire country competing at the Business English Thingy. Can you imagine how many people that is?? Like a gazillion probably. My mind was blown when Lily told me. They had to take a big huge test with a bajillion questions about business terms and stuff related to marketing, finance, economics - you name it! Lily saidsome of the questions made her brain feel like a pretzel. But of course, my genius sister figured them all out. After that crazy hard test, they picked the students who got the highest scores to move on to the next round. This is where they had to give speeches and presentations and do all sorts of fun things to show off their English business skills. My favoritest part was when they acted out scenarios where you had to negotiate things and make deals and be super professional and grown-up. It was hilarious watching the college kids pretend to be all serious in suits and ties! While I'm just a kid, even I could see how insanely talented and well-spoken all the contestants were. They threw around those complicated business words like it was nothing! I don't think I'll ever be able to understand words like "leveraged buyout" or "economies of scale." I'll just leave that business mumbo-jumbo to the smart folks like Lily.Drum roll please....... After like a million rounds of competitions, they finally announced the winners! I've got the list of names right here:First Place: Zhang Yifan from Beida UniversitySecond Place: Lin Zihao from Fudan UniversityThird Place: Wang Xinyue from Zhejiang UniversityThere were also some honorable mentions and special awards given out, like:Best Presentation: Liu Jingyi from Nanjing UniversityBest Negotiation Skills: Huang Zhenxing from Xiamen UniversityBest English Pronunciation: Cai Wenqing from Sun Yat-Sen UniversityI remember Lily was rubbing her eyes and stretching like a sleepy kitten when they called out her name for....Outstanding Achievement in Business Case Analysis: Li Xiaoli from Tongji UniversityThat's my incredibly smart big sis! She's going to take me to Disneyland with some of it! Woo-hoo!Although I still don't fully understand what the Business English Thingy is all about, I could feel how massively important and impressive it was. All the winners worked their butts off andshould be crazy proud of themselves. Having strong English skills for business is a total game-changer nowadays with all the international companies and global trade and stuff.I've got my fingers crossed that maybe, just maybe, I inherited some of those genius business brains from my sis. Then I'll be able to sling around those weird business words like a pro when I'm older. Who knows, perhaps one day you'll see little ol' me on the winner list for the Business English Thingy too! A kid can dream, right?Welp, that's all I've got to report about the National College Business English Knowledge Competition. I probably forgot a bunch of important details, but hey, cut me some slack - I'm just a kid! Let's go get some victory ice cream!篇5The Bestest Business English Brain Battle!Hi there! My name is Timmy and I'm 8 years old. I love contests and competitions, especially the ones with really cool names. That's why I was super duper excited when I heard aboutthe "National Business English Knowledge Contest for Universities" that just happened!Even though I'm just a kid, I really want to learn all about business stuff. My dad is a business person and he's always talking about "quarterly earnings reports" and "synergizing strategic verticals" at the dinner table. I don't really know what those big words mean yet, but I can't wait until I'm older and get to put on a nice suit and carry a briefcase to work like him. How cool would that be?Anyway, back to the contest. The name is a huge mouthful, so I'm just gonna call it the "Bestest Business English Brain Battle" because that's way more fun to say! They had to answer tons of super hard questions about business words and terms in English. Whoever got the most right was the, well, bestest of the best! Now here's the really exciting part - the list of winners!! I convinced my mom to read me the names because some of them are kind of hard to pronounce. I can barely say "Zhejiang" let alone spell it.When I'm older I wanna be just like the students from Zhejiang University who won this Brain Battle thingy. The runner up in second place was Tsinghua University. I've actually heard of that school before because it's, like, wicked smart and stuff. My dad always talks about how he wishes he could have gone there. I bet the Tsinghua students are pretty sad they came in second instead of first, but hey, being second bestest in the whole country is still really really good! And taking home the bronze medal (is there actually a medal? That would be so cool!) in third place was Shanghai Jiao Tong University. I'm gonna level with you, I have no idea where that university is or how to say its name properly. But getting third place in this big huge national contest is incredible! GreatGood job, Shanghai...Jio Tong...University students! Those were the top three winners, but there were lots more schools that did an amazing job too. From Beijing in the north all the way down to Guangzhou in the way way south. From Shanghai over on the east coast jigging all the way across to Chengdu in the west. No matter where they were from, kids just a little bit older than me put their skills to the ultimate test. So cool!I sure would love to be a business English brain myself when I grow up. Just imagine - jetting off to international meetings, discussing very important business plans, and inking hugeMUGE deals, all while speaking in perfect businessy English. Wouldn't that be the dream? For now though, I'll have to settle for math homework and trying not to get juice box stains on my shirt at snack time. R. ChinaSept. 28, 1998Dear colleagues:This is to recommend Ms. Shan Shan, a graduate from this university’s department of International business Management, for acceptance into your MBA program.I have known Ms. Shan as a resourceful and goal-oriented individual since 1990, when she attended a lecture I delivered, at which she asked perceptive and challenging questions. Although she did not officially take acourse with me, she often consulted me on issues arising out of her studies. I therefore have come to know her well. I feel strongly that Ms. Shan’s unusual talents and abilities will stand her in good stead for a quality MBA education, which should serve as a major boost to her career. While at this university, Ms. Shan was an outstanding student, boasting excellent performance in all subjects of her studies and demonstrating great potential. Her overall GPA ranked her among the top 3 in her class of 40 students. But Ms. Shan was no bookworm devoted exclusively to exams. She read extensively in subjects outside her major, particularly in business law, marketing, finance and journalism, all of which seemed to be fascinating to her. In recognition of her intellectual strengths, the department offered, at the time of her graduation, to accept her into its graduate without the normally mandatory examinations. She, however, turned down the offer. A highly independent woman, she already had her own agenda set. She wanted to obtain practical management experience first and then proceed to pursue a Master’s Degree in Business Administrative in your country. She apparently made the right decision, for she has since become one of our most successful graduates in her crop of students.Ms. Shan is good at communicating in both oral and written English. Some of he most important undergraduate courses were taught by American professors, many of whom considered her oral English as native and her written English as standard. I am sure that she has since improved her English a lot more in her professional life.In Ms. Shan, we all saw an optimistic and easy-going character. With highly unusual determination, she is not to be daunted by any difficulties. She believes that, with hard work, she can achieve anything she wants. I think her confidence in herself is well grounded in her track record, especially when considering the fact that she entered into this university as the daughter of a most impoverished family, but graduated as a top student.Judging by what I know of her, I think Ms. Shan is fully qualified to pursue an MBA degree in your program. I therefore recommend her with enthusiasm. And I shall greatly appreciate if you can favorably consider her application for admission and financial aid.Yours sincerely【第3篇】留学推荐信英文范文To Whom It May Concern:John Smith has worked under my guidance and supervision as an accounting assistant from December 17, 2003, until November 22, 2006. She likes it very much. I teach her in an open and interactive manner, she is active and passionate about answering class questions. Miss Zhang is bright, energetic and enthusiastic girl who loves speaking out her own ideas. She never escapes from those points of which she is skeptical. Apart from that, she often puts forward her ideas upon questions and exchanges all of her innovate ideas with me after class.Upon ending of General Biology course, I asked mystudents to write an essay upon their understanding of biology. I discovered Miss Zhang’s essay was so impressive and persuasive; her careful essay comes from dozens of references to Biology literatures. In essay Miss Zhang stretched out her creative thinking upon status quo of biological research and branches in the field of biology. All of this speaks to her creative and logical and scientific thinking capability. I am gladly to say that Miss Zhang has a clear understanding about General Biology, that comprehension has been reflected fully in her essay. Therefore Miss Zhang got a full point for her essay in her class, and other students took it as model essay for granted.I believe Miss Zhang’s industriousness, passion and dedication will make her an ideal candidate you are seeking for your program, so I highly recommend her without any hesitation to you. And I will greatly appreciate it if you could accept her into your program.Sincerely yours,Prof. xxx【第5篇】留学推荐信英文范文To Whom it may Concern:After serious consideration, I recommend Denglu to your university for further study. It is a pleasure to have such an excellent student as Denglu in our class.

As a top student from Nankai University (NKU) which is one of the most famous universities in China, I am submitting this document in support of application for acceptance into your graduate program. With four years of undergraduate study in optoelectronics, I am now ready to pursue advanced studies. I believe that my excellent background in optics and photonics as well as my potential and experience in academic researches would be the key factors in determining my successful application for graduate study.University education is like a paradise of knowledge replete with precious academic treasures. In it, I greedily absorb all kinds of “nutritious” knowledge. As is known, optoelectronics is a newly emerged discipline that synthesizes a multiplicity of subjects such as optics, photonics, electronics as well as physics. The multi-disciplinary nature of optoelectronics makes it possible for me to simultaneously study a variety of subjects, which is really a challenge to me. Since the credits that are required by my major is much more than other majors in my department and with the belief that god helps those who help themselves, I always keep working hard on my major study and never have I been absent from classes. I always keep my mind active in the class in order to “digest” the knowledge efficiently. In this process, I regard my major as a friend that could bring me with joy and pleasure rather than a simple subject. All in all, the hard-working and interest are indeed two advantages I have over others. From my point of view, the strongest evidence indicating that I have an excellent study capacity is my progress in the process of undergraduate study. Since I was indeed interested in the field of optics and photonics, I transfered my major from microelectronics to optoelectronics in the first year of my undergraduate study. Although I was No.1 in my previous major, my score could not be regarded as the top scores in optoelectronics since the rank of this major in China is among the top 5 and many excellent students choose this major for their undergraduate study. However, with my hard-working and excellent performance for the next two years, my general GPA is now 3.80 which ranks me No.2 in my major. During the undergraduate study, I have won the National scholarship which is the highest scholarship to reward the top students in each major. What is more, since my academic standing was quite strong, I was offered a chance of acceptance into almost all the top graduate schools in China without the normally mandatory admission exams. That was a privilege available to only the best ones among the graduating students. However, I declined the offer since it was the principle that if I was determined to apply for foreign graduate schools, I must give up this privilege. These achievement and performance could strongly prove that I have a good study ability which would be my advantage to apply for graduate programs in your department. In addition to my major study, in my second year of undergraduate study, I joined my university’s laboratory of Modern Optics and successfully applied for the “National Innovative Experimental Program for University Students”which offeredthe university students approximately $3,000 to do academic researches and I was the leader of the group. Since optical fibers and relevant optical fiber devices are quite important especially in optical communicating and sensing systems, we chose our research direction in the spectral characteristic of the long-period and ultra long-period fiber gratings and found ways to largely eliminate the phenomenon of fiber grating birefringence which could be an obstacle in fiber communicating and sensing systems. Up until now, we have manufactured the coated reflector to make the fiber being exposed from multiple directions by carbon dioxide laser pulses and had a relatively deep exploration about the characteristics of twisted strain in fabricating fiber gratings. What is more, I also did research in fiber grating tunable bandwidth filters and have found some excellent experimental phenomenon. During the process of this program, I had three major gains. Firstly, I have had a good command of the theoretical knowledge in this field such as the coupled mode and the waveguide theory. Some of the theories were so hard to be comprehended that I spent a lot of time on them. Secondly, I largely improved my practical ability and cultivated the general qualities which were required for a researcher to pursue scientific explorations in a particular field. Thirdly, I learnt how to cooperate with my teammates to finish the task efficiently and deeply felt the importance of the team strength. In this sense, I indeed feel that I have a strong motivation to explore in the academic field and have confidence that I can make some academic achievement since I make fully preparations and enjoy the process. On this issue, although I studied many undergraduate courses related to optoelectronics and have laid a tentative foundation for undertaking research on optoelectronics, my existing knowledge is far from enough for reaching a relatively complete solution. My conclusion is that I have to seek more advanced studies in the field of optoelectronics in order to make important achievements in the future. What is more, with the fast development of some optical-related field such as optical fibers, lasers, nanophotonics and quantum information, the area of optoelectronics indeed has a promising future and deserves a deep exploration. Based on these recognitions and in view of the relatively backward conditions of China in this field, I am determined to pursue further studies in the field of optics and photonics in the United States which has the best educational system in the world. Although there will be many challenges in the process of my application, I will keep trying my best since a person could not have many opportunities to strive for his/her dream in his/her lifetime. Thus, I will not give up the only chance to realize my study dream no matter how hard it is and how many challenges I have to confront. After all, there is no regret after we try our best to pursue for what is deserved to strive for. I am sure that, with your seasoned guidance, I will significantly enrich my knowledge, enhance my expertise, sharpen my research skills and be outstanding in the field of optics and photonics. All in all, I have confidence in myself since I have excellent study ability, a two-year academic research training in a program, a firm belief to pursue my dream as well as a determination to explore in academic fields.。
