来当小医生 让学生通过情景的演练,学会运用询问疾病的句型: What’s wrong with you?
家庭医生比比看 让学生通过家庭医生的和身份,了解并能运用给病人提建议的句子: You should/ shouldn’t
对症下药 通过学生针对各种病症的表现, 主学生学会用相关的治疗方法
医生,护士工作大体验 让学生通过对医生,护士职业角色的扮演,让他们了解一些医院中常用的英语口语
远程治疗 让让学生通过发E-mail的方式, 给远方的病人以最佳的治疗方案,从而学会运用提建议的句型: You’d better…, You’d better not …
Section A (The first period)
Step 1 Warming-up
1. Ask the students some questions about the age, favourite things.
2. Have a new dialogue.
Step 2 Presentation
Get five students out of the class, tell the other students that they are ill. Then, let the whole class
to guess What’s wrong with him/ her?
Teach the new words and phrases:
1.a cough 2. sore eyes 3. a backache. 4. have a cold 5. a fever 6. a toothache 7. flu 8. a

Get the students to look at the pictures, and then listen to the tape, then repeat .
Step 4 Practice
Get the students to practice the dialogue in front of the classroom.
Step 5 Pair work
Get the students to follow the example to make a dialog.
Section A (The second period)
Step 1 Revision
1. Get the students revise the new words and then have a dictation.
2. Talk and write.
Step 2 Look, ask and answer
Get the students to act the patients, then have other students to guess: “ What’s wrong with him/
her?
Help them to answer: He/ she has….
Step 3 Team competitions
Get the students into 4 or 5 groups, and then have them to have a competition.
Step 4 Look and match
Get the students to look at the statements, and then match the sentences.
Step 5 Homework
Translate the following phrases or sentences into English or Chinese.

Call the students complete the sentences with the correct words in the box.

Get the students look at the pictures first, then listen it and answer the questions.

Listen to the conversation and mark(T) for true and (F) for false.

Step 1. Review
Ask some questions about what they learned in the last period.

Step 2. Presentation
1. The teacher shows a letter and tell: This is a letter from Peter to Lily
2. The teacher asks some questions about the passage.
