Unit 3 Our animal friends教材分析：本单元主要围绕的话题是介绍动物特征，学习小动物的外貌特征和行为能力。

在本节课板块中，Nancy, Mike, Liu Tao和Su Hai分别描述了四种小动物，都是以谜面的形式呈现，其中并没有提及动物的名字。

为了增强趣味性，板块中的插图也是一拼图的形式呈现，学生需要图文兼顾，才能猜到谜语，这很大程度上激发了孩子们的好奇心，使得趣味性和挑战性并存。
