activities. I get up early in the morning and go to school by bus. My school starts at 8

do my homework and watch some cartoons on TV. Later, I have my dinner at 6 pm

with my family. I enjoy my day very much.

My Dream Job When I grow up, I want to be a doctor. I want to help people who

are sick and make them feel better. I will study hard and become a good doctor. I

will also learn how to communicate with my patients so that they feel comfortable

and safe. Being a doctor is not an easy job, but I believe that I can do it if I work hard.

Unit 3 Making a Phone Call

Calling My Friend Today, I want to call my friend to invite her to come to my

birthday party. I pick up the phone and dial her number. She answers the phone and

we greet each other. I tell her about my birthday party and ask her if she can come.

She says yes and we talk about the details. We hang up the phone and I am happy

that she is coming to my party.

Unit 4 My Hometown

My Hometown I live in a small town in China. It is surrounded by mountains and

rivers. The air is fresh and the scenery is beautiful. In my hometown, people are

friendly and helpful. We have many festivals and activities during the year, such as

the Dragon Boat Festival and the Spring Festival. I love my hometown and I am

proud to be from there.

Unit 5 My Vacation

My Summer Vacation Last summer, I went to the beach with my family. We

swam in the sea and built sand castles on the beach. We also went to a water park

and had a lot of fun on the water slides. In the evenings, we went to restaurants and

ate delicious seafood. We also went to the market and bought souvenirs for our

friends. I had a great time on my summer vacation and I hope to go back again soon. Unit 6 My Favorite Animal

delicious. I like to eat pizza with my friends on weekends or when we have parties.

It’s a fun and tasty food that everyone enjoys.

Unit 8 A Day Out

A Day Out Today, I went to a theme park with my family. We rode roller coasters,

played games and watched shows. We also had some snacks like popcorn and candy.

We had a lot of fun together and took many photos to remember our day out. I hope

we can go back to the theme park again soon.

My Exciting Spring Vacation
