2008年北京奥运、2010年广州亚运会、2011年深圳世界大学生运动会的举行更将推动加快广东省的酒店业的发展步伐。
广东省酒店业要适应市场需求,一方面除了要加强硬件设施建设外,更重要的是培养高素质人才。
日益频繁的中外交流,对酒店从业人员提出了更高的要求,除必需掌握过硬的专业知识和技能外,进一步提高外语交流能力,是为顾客优质服务的基础。
目前,我省酒店业在外语培训方面,还没有一本结合我省实际的外语培训教材。
对接受培训的员工也没有一套规范标准的测试体系。
广东省旅游行业岗位职务培训指导委员会(以下简称“省旅培委”)经过长时间的调研和投入大量资源,现向全省推行酒店职业外语等级考试。
