第一章:句子结构(一划句子结构)一、名词性从句:一)主语从句:it may (well) be that + 主从; it be +adj./ed/n. + that + 主从; it seem/happen/appear + that + 主从二) 宾语从句:动词型:that 不能省略/ 介词型:介词后只能接疑问词引导的宾语从句(除in that, except that, but that)三)表语从句:主语+be+that 从句/疑问词型从句二、特殊结构:一)强调:it is…that …; it is not until…that…;many n…..,if not most, do sth; n. is as…as…, if not more so. Prep.: accept/ classify/ define/ describe/ know/ name/ refer to/ regard/ speak of/ state/ think/ think of/ view as n. Conj.: (just) as …, 主句; (just) as …, so 主句; (just) as …, so too 主句(部分倒装);Pron.: 代替单主句 (e.g. indirect socialization also occurs, as when television shows reinforce stereotyped images)四)同位结构:同位语,主语…(一定要一致)解释:n.,n.; a n., n.; n., a n.; the n., n.;内容具体化:抽象n.(theory/ evidence/ belief/ principle/hypothesis) + that 从句 (that 不能省略);of 表示所属关系,强调部分概念。
概括:a n. (program/ information/ effort/ practice) that修饰:n., n. that 从句代词:n., one/ones + that 从句五)独立主格:(with/each) + n./ ed/ ing/ adj.phrase/ prep.phrase (注意each 后接单数its 非their )六)省略结构:V .+that两个句子并列,第一个含有be 作为助动词或become ,第二个句子中的be 或become 必须省略。
GMAT语法小蓝精解----part II部分3.and 题型:要求形式对称,所以making and causing 如果选A则,ignition and flames 并列,具体不能对抽象,所以错,而B flames spreads.
Cause sth to do 为正确答案。
在GMAT考试中,与to do 搭配有很多,如迫使,倾向和序数词修饰某个名词其后要求使用不定式,如force sb to do/ be inclined to do/ attempt to do. The first woman to fly solo4.核心主干为caterpillar strikes when hairs are disturbed holds the victim.
Their symmetries are embellished MCC has traveled to dwellings 并列,此时their只能指代dwellings根据句子含义,错。
6.主干为inflation slowed but were错,因为but为并列连词,所以were主语为inflation 单数,所以答案为B 。
Reasons are N1, N2, N3; reasons are that SVO , that SVO and that SVO8. Like A, B +V+O 此时只要求A和B为同类概念。
原则二:Just like 是wordy, like就可以了。
Like**,**also 也是redundant。
(e.g.,og119.C)3. like
(e.g.,og091)但like+n.也可作表语 (looks like,reads like (e.g.,大全568)),或普通状语(说普通是区分独立成分)(v.+like+n.,e.g., og119)。
平时我们说“wo rk like a dog”,即属此类。
4.当like+n.
5. 当like+n.作状语时,感觉GMAT接受v.+like+n.,很少用v.+n.+like+n.,除非是固定用法(如:treat...like...
例如下面的句子,GMAT会认为confusing: Tom drives his car like a tank. (drive like a tank, orcar like a tank?)6. like, as, 和 as if。
