单元教学目标:
1. 能够借助图片关键词等基本信息听懂有关某著名人物生平及其成就的简短语篇。
2. 能够运用本单元重点语言与他人简短谈论自己崇拜或喜爱的名人的生平,成就等情况。
3. 能够整合新旧知识丰富表述语言,不断提高语言表达能力。

指导思想与理论依据
对话教学作为人教版英语课本的重要表现形式,其在提升学生英语兴趣和语言素养方面有着十分积极的作用。本课将以任务为驱动,勾连学生生活实际,结合图文情境,借图学文,以图促思,引导学生在特定的真实的语境中大胆想象、分析、判断;以此来催化学生思维品质和语言素养的提升。
教学内容分析
1.人教版六年级上册共设六个学习单元和两个复习单元。学习单元覆盖了In China,Around the World,Animal World,Feelings, Famous People, Winter Vacation ; 每个话题均包括了主情境、词汇、功能句和语篇等内容。整本书以词汇和功能句的学习为明线,通过真实自然的语境,借助歌谣、歌曲、对话、语篇等学习素材,来共同演绎一个主题。
2.从单元结构来看,学习单元包括: Lesson1, Lesson2, Lesson3, Let’s Spell, Fun Time, Let’s check和Story
Time。Lesson1 是以创设的情境对本单元主题进行引入并渗透关键词汇的学习;Lesson2在词汇学习的基础上进行关键句型的学习和运用,教学复习旧知,学习新知识,最重要的是通过一个个生动有趣的故事得到一些哲理思考,情感共鸣,让学生在教中学,教中感悟。
3.本课选取的是第二单元的Lesson2这课时,本课时的教学内容主要围绕In China话题展开, 通过Andy与Yaoyao的对话情景化呈现本单元目标功能句型,同时在B项练习中通过句子排序操练A项中出现的功能句型,从而使学生理解和学习再次巩固本单元目标句型,如何描述某个城市地理位置,以及城市以什么闻名。
学情分析
六年级上期学生,在英语学习方面已能够听懂日常的英语课堂用语。本课涉及的是学生日常生活十分熟悉的话题,另外学生通过前1课中对相关的词汇的学习,能够对本节课的学习提供有效的词汇支撑。在生活方面,由于现代学生物质条件较好,通过这一课的教学也让学生认识学习中国城市的大美;在这一课时里对他们来说相对较难的部分是句型中的famous和temples单词的发音和认读,而情境中的长句较多,在听音时有一定难度,在运用句子进行操练时,学生不一定能迅速掌握这些句子。
