大单元教学【教学内容】人教版八年级上册第六单元“I’m going to study computer science”阅读课【案例分析】本单元属于人与自我、人与社会范畴,从主题群角度分析属于生活与学习、做人与做事的主题,包含自我认识、自我管理、自我提升、职业启蒙、公共服务等多方面内容。
本单元的主要话题是“生活目标(Life goals)”,以谈论对未来的打算为主要内容,安排了四个对话以及两个阅读,整个单元的情境相对清晰,因此听、说、读、写活动的开展也要在整个情境中组织,通过多样化的课型活动帮助学生掌握语言信息,发展阅读能力,同时提高学生的阅读能力与写作能力。
【学情分析】八年级学生英语知识积累量逐渐上升,在以往学习中,学生已经掌握了一些与职业相关的动词,有了一定的语言知识储备,这些都有利于本单元英语知识的学习。
在本单元内容学习与疏导过程中,教师应该结合学生的学习兴趣、具体学情设计符合学生学习的多元化英语实践活动,同时将听、说、读、写活动融合展现,激发学生主动学习英语的兴趣,同时也在无形中使学生确立理想。
【单元大概念】基于学科素养要求,本单元教学的核心观念确定为:我的生活我做主,做一个生活有目标,做事有规划的人;了解不同职业,做好未来规划,实现生活目标,回报社会(Know about different jobs,make plans for future,achieve life goals,contribute to the society)。
【单元教学目标】语言能力:学生能够在具体情境中正确使用“be going to”和“want to do”句型,如制订自己未来的理想和计划等,同时提升听说技能。
文化意识:学生能够初步了解中外学生的择业观,树立健康生活目标,以及积极的价值观念。
思维品质:学生能够在听、说、读、写活动中准确获取信息,在与人合作、交流、探讨过程中表达自己的观点,培养思维能力。
学习能力:学生具备讨论未来理想的能力,借助小组活动用英语展开交流,说一说自己未来的职业理想。
