MLA引用格式为美国现代语言协会(Modern Language Association)制定的论文指导格式，在一般书写英语论文时应当使用MLA格式来保证学术著作的完整。本文旨在以英文参考文献为例，对常用的参考文献标注方式分类做一简要介绍，中文参考文献标注格式参照英文执行。欲窥堂奥者详见上海外语教育出版社出版的《MLA科研论文写作规范》第五版。网上也有其他的介绍性文章，大家亦可学习参考。
