And I marvel at how he did it—without bitterness or complaint.[6] He never talked about himself as an object of pity, nor did he show any envy of the more fortunate or able. I get to dress up in a fun costume, gotrick-or-treating, and eat lots of candy. Plus, there are pumpkin patches where we can pick our own pumpkins to carve into jack-o-lanterns. Fall is just so cozy and fun.Last but not least, we have Winter. Winter is the coldest season, but that's what makes it so exciting! When it snows,everything looks like a winter wonderland. I love bundling up in my warmest clothes and going outside to play in the snow.Building snowmen, having snowball fights, and going sledding are some of my favorite winter activities. And when it's too cold to play outside, we can stay inside and drink hot chocolate by the fireplace. Winter is also when we celebrate Christmas, which means decorating the tree, baking cookies, and getting presents!Even though Winter can be chilly and sometimes gloomy, I still love it because it means spending time with my family and making special memories. Plus, I know that when Winter ends, Spring will come back around, and the cycle of seasons will start all over again.Each season has its own unique charm and special events. Each one is so different and special in its own way, and I love them all for different reasons!Let's start with spring. Spring is when everything starts coming alive again after the cold winter months. The trees and flowers begin to bloom, painting the world in pretty pinks, whites, yellows, and purples. I love going on nature walks with my family and seeing all the new baby animals like bunnies, chicks, and lambs. Spring also means Easter, which is one of myfavorite holidays! I get to decorate eggs, go on an Easter egg hunt, and eat lots of chocolate. Yum!As spring turns into summer, the warm weather really kicks in. Summer means no more school for a few months - yay! I love having all that free time to play outside, have water balloon fights with my friends, and go swimming at the pool or beach. Summer nights are awesome too, catching fireflies in a jar and roasting marshmallows around the campfire. One of the best things about summer though is all the delicious fruits and vegetables that are in season, like watermelon, corn on the cob, and fresh tomatoes from my mom's garden.When summer fades away, fall starts to creep in. The leaves on the trees turn into a beautiful rainbow of red, orange, and yellow before falling to create a crunchy carpet on the ground. Rake piles are the best for jumping in! Fall is also when we celebrate Halloween, which is so much fun. I get to dress up as something spooky or silly and go trick-or-treating for candy with my friends. Pumpkin everything becomes available too - pumpkin pie, pumpkin bread, pumpkin spice lattes for my parents. Yum!Finally, winter rolls around to close out the year. It gets really cold and snowy, but that's what makes winter so magical! I lovebundling up in my warmest coat, hat, scarf, and mittens to go outside and build a snowman or have an epic snowball fight. My friends and I also go sledding every chance we get - feeling the wind in your face as you go zooming down a hill is one of the best feelings ever. The holidays make winter special too, with Christmas, Hanukkah, and New Year's Eve. Getting to spend time with family, opening presents, eating delicious food, and staying up late is the best.As you can see, I really do love all four seasons. Each one brings its own unique weather, foods, holidays, and activities to enjoy. Summer will probably always be my favorite since I love the warm temperatures and being off from school. But I'd definitely be sad if we only had one season all year round. The changing of the seasons and getting to experience something new every few months is what makes the year so fun and exciting.
