After analyzing it carefully, I find the article is a debate, a new style that our students read for the first time and the topic of this article can easily arouse students’interest.Part 2 identifying the teaching aims确定教学目标Having known these, I tried my best to ensure my teaching method to meet the requirement of modern social communication teaching theories and set following three aims for our students.The first aim is knowledge aim: students are expected to fully understand the view of both sides.The second aim is known as skill aim: through reading debate, students are required to know that they should not draw a conclusion or show agreement until both sides have finished presentation.The third aim is to cause our students to emotionally support or form the idea such as create a sustainable economy which would reduce environmental pollution.
