Unit 3 Is this your pencil ?一、教学内容、目标和要求二、教学内容分析本单元是以辨认物品所有者为话题,在不断的听和对话训练中让学生掌握有关学习用品和日常生活用品的英语名称,通过询问物品的名称而引出本单元的目标句式:Is this/ that…? 然后通过很自然的询问单词的写法来导入另一重要句式:How do you spell it? Section B 3a以失物招领和寻物启事为题材,主要是巩固前面所学的单词、电话号码和培养学生拾物必还的精神。
三、教学过程建议由于本单元的单词都是学生们熟悉的东西,所以我们在把这些单词呈现给学生时,只需用实物演示,不必使用过多的汉语,反复借助活动和游戏的强化就可以让学生牢固掌握住。
本单元的一个目标句型Is this your/his/her…? Is that your/ his/ her…?可以通过收集学生的文具,寻找物品的主人而很容易地导入这一话题,并进行操练。
Period One课型:Watching, listening and speaking方法:Interactive approach主要内容:Key vocabulary: this, that , pencil, pen, book, eraser, ruler, dictionaryKey structures: Is this / that…?目标:To learn the words about school things.To learn to identify ownership教学步骤:Step1 Warming-up目的:为下一个任务作准备,导入话题并呈现本单元部分生单词。
说明:这一部分可利用课堂的前5 分钟完成,这是一个free talk,学生会感到很轻松,同时对话也涉及到文具和物主代词,能够让学生较快地进入学习状态,并导入下一个活动。
操作:·师生在相互问候之后,教师顺势将对话深入,导入本课的话题。

教材分析: 本单元以“Is this your pencil?”为中心话题,运用Is this/ that your/his/her …? 询问“某人的所有物”。
本课是单元的起始阶段,通过Section A 的学习,学生能够掌握本单元有关“物品”的基本词汇和目标语,确认物品所属关系。
学情分析:学生层次不齐,学生不愿张口,通过本节课的课堂学习,学生之间逐渐熟悉起来,气氛活跃,能够友好的交流,彼此成为朋友。
他们也比熟悉了任务型的教学模式,对英语学习有着浓厚的兴趣,乐于参与、合作和交流。
但他们还需在老师的正确引导下,养成良好的学习习惯,提高英语语言水平。

它集合了美式英语的特点也融入了中国的教学理念,整本书根本上都是英文,意在强迫学生用英语的思维去学习英语,创造一种学习英语的气氛,本书着重于文化背景知识和学习策略等局部,培养学生的听说读写各方面的能力。
2.单元分析本单元的标题为Is this your pencil 话题为Things in the classroom. 本单元围绕“识别物品的所属〞,使学生学会询问物品的主人的根本句型“Is this/that your/her/his pencil Yes, it is. No, it isn’t.〞,体会一般疑问句的用法;学习如何写“失物招领、寻物启事〞,稳固所学单词的拼写“How do you spell pen P-E-N.〞。
