If aftermarket suspension components are installed it is the customers responsibility to ensure that at full cycle the suspension clears the FOX shocks.• FOX direct-replacement shocks should always be installed as a set for maximum performance.• Proper installation and service procedures are essential for the safe and reliable operation of the suspension components, requiring the experience and tools specially designed for this purpose.Installation and maintenance procedures for this product must be performed by a qualified service technician, to avoid potentially unsafe vehicle handling characteristics, which may result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.• Modifying your vehicle’s suspension will change the handling characteristics of your vehicle. Under certain conditions, your modified vehicle may be more susceptible to loss of control or rollover, which can result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH. Thoroughly familiarize yourself with the modified vehicle handling characteristics before any rigorous vehicle operation. Wear protective body gear and a helmet when appropriate. Installation of vehicle roll bars or cage is highly recommended.• FOX direct-replacement shocks are gas-charged and are highly pressurized. Placing shocks in a vise or clamp, applying heat, or attempting to open or service the shock without the proper tools and training can result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH. Do not attempt to modify, puncture or incinerate a FOX direct-replacement shock absorber.• Any attempt to misuse, misapply, modify, or tamper with any FOX product voids any warranty and may result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH.INSTALLATION GUIDELINES• Always use a chassis lift for the installation of shocks, and make certain that the raised vehicle is securely attached to the lift to prevent the vehicle from slipping, falling, or moving during theinstallation process.• DO NOT install any FOX product without the necessary special tools, expertise and chassis lift or you will subject yourself to the risk of SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH. If you elect to not use a chassis lift(which may result in SERIOUS INJURY or DEATH), ensure that the vehicle is: (1) on level ground, (2) that all tires on the ground during installation are blocked to prevent vehicle movement, (3) that at least two tires are on the ground at all times, and (4) that adequately secured jack stands are used to support the vehicle. NEVER get under the vehicle until you have checked to ensure that the vehicle will be stable during installation.• FOX direct-replacement shocks are designed to fit your vehicle’s shock mounts without modification except the reservoir placement on specific models and applications.NOTICE: Medium-strength thread-lock is recommended on all bolts.1. Please read the INSTALLATION GUIDELINES on page 5 for instructions on how to properly lift and secure the vehicle.NOTICE: Ensure vehicle is at full droop during installation.2. Remove the stock steering stabilizer and tie rod bracket.STOCK STABILIZER REMOVAL• Manufacturer Torque Specs • Torque Wrench•Medium-Strength Thread-LockTOOLS REQUIREDSTABILIZER SHOCK INSTALLATIONFOX STABILIZER INSTALLATION3. Install eyelet end of stabilizer in stock location with adjuster screw pointed down. Torque bolt to 60 ft-lb.4. Compress the stabilizer so 1/4” of shaft isexposed between the eyelet and the body. For ATS models, turning the adjuster screw on the eyelet fully counter clockwise will make compressing the stabilizer easier (Fig. 1).5. Turn the vehicle’s wheels completely to the rightso they rest against the steering stops.Fig. 1: Eyelet installed with 1/4” of shaft exposed.6. Loosely mount the Group A clamp to track bar with the Group A fasteners (Fig. 2).Fig. 2: Loosely mount the stabilizer to the track bar.7. Orient the stabilizer to avoid interference with any parts of the vehicle (suspension, driveline, engine, etc.) through the entire range of steering and suspension travel.8. If interference issues exist and cannot be resolved by rotating the tie rod clamp, rotate the stabilizer reservoir. Loosen pinch bolt on L-bracket between stabilizer clamp to rotate reservoir. Torque pinch bolt to 12 lb-ft.9. With the wheels turned fully to the right and 1/4” of shaft exposed on the stabilizer, tighten Group A clamp bolts to 12 lb-ft.CHECK AND FINAL DETAILS10. Check that the vehicle steers completely in both directions and is limited by the steering stops, not the stabilizer.11. Place vehicle on the ground and check that the steering stabilizer does not interfere with anything (suspension, driveline, engine, etc.) through entire range of steering and suspension travel.NOTICE: If after installing the steering stabilizer a vehicle lift is added or maintenance is performed requiring the removal of the stabilizer (such as a wheel alignment), you must re-mount the tie rod clamp at the vehicle’s new full droop height. Use the same steps outlined above to complete the clamp re-mount.FOX Factory, Inc., a Georgia corporation having an office at 6634 Highway 53 Braselton, GA 30517 (“FOX”),makes the following LIMITED WARRANTY with respect to its suspension products:LIMITED ONE (1) YEAR WARRANTY ON SUSPENSION PRODUCTS.Subject to the limitations, terms and conditions hereof, FOX warrants, to the original retail owner of each new FOX suspension product, that the FOX suspension product, when new, is free from defects in materials and workmanship. The following specifications and dimensional drawings form the basisfor the design of the required assemblies.• The weighing platform may only be supported by the support feet, and never by theframe or lever parts.• The weighing platform may only be permanently installed on the support feet.• Moving or rotating parts on the weighing platform must be designed so that they donot affect the weighing result. Balance rotating parts.• The load plate must be free on all sides so that there is no connection between theload plate and permanently mounted parts, even by falling parts or dirt deposits.• Lay cables or hoses between the weighing platform and other machine parts so thatthey do not exert any force on the weighing platform.CAUTIONWhen mounting assemblies, make sure that no metal chips get into the weighing platform.➜Remove the load plate rfrom the weighing platform before working on the load plate.4.2 Preload rangeThe weight of the structural parts permanently mounted on the weighing platform is referredto as "preload". The preload is electrically compensated in the weighing platform so thatthe full weighing range is available. The maximum preload (or the zero-setting range) thatcan be compensated dispends on the configured weighing range. For the preload range of the individual weighing platform refer to section "3.2 Configurationdata in the factory setting" on page 15.CAUTIONThe assemblies must already be mounted when connecting the weighing platform.16Planning assemblies PBK9-series 30233012A4.3 Mounting possibilitiesMounting possibilities PBK989-A3 / PBK989-A6L Level bubble Dimensions in mm• Bridge assemblies can be mounted in the shaded areas.Recommended mounting type: Bolting on, welding on.• Remove the load plate and drill through for this purpose.• Mounting parts (e.g. bolts and nuts) may extend to a maximum of 7 mm beyond theunderside of the load plate.Technical version: 11/201417Planning assemblies30233012A PBK9-seriesMounting possibilities PBK989-AB15 / PBK989-AB30L Level bubble Dimensions in mm• Bridge assemblies can be mounted in the shaded areas.Recommended mounting type: Bolting on, welding on.• Remove the load plate and drill through for this purpose.• Mounting parts (e.g. bolts and nuts) may extend to a maximum of 7 mm beyond theunderside of the load plate.Technical version: 11/201418Planning assemblies PBK9-series 30233012AMounting possibilities PBK98_-B60 / PBK98_-B120L Level bubble Dimensions in mm• Bridge assemblies can be mounted in the shaded areas.Recommended mounting type: Bolting on, welding on.• Remove the load plate and drill through for this purpose.• Mounting parts (e.g. bolts and nuts) may extend to a maximum of 10 mm beyondthe underside of the load plate.Technical version: 11/201419Planning assemblies30233012A PBK9-seriesMounting possibilities PBK98_-CC150 / PBK98_-CC300L Level bubble Dimensions in mm• Bridge assemblies can be mounted in the shaded areas.Recommended mounting type: Bolting on, welding on.• Remove the load plate and drill through for this purpose.• Mounting parts (e.g. bolts and nuts) may extend to a maximum of 10 mm beyondthe underside of the load plate.Technical version: 11/201420Planning assemblies PBK9-series 30233012A5 DimensionsDimensions PBK989-XS0.6Dimensions in mmH Adjustable with 4 foot boltsMin. Glider Flying Handbook2013U.S. Department of TransportationFEDERAL AVIATION ADMINISTRATIONFlight Standards Servicei iPrefaceThe Glider Flying Handbook is designed as a technical manual for applicants who are preparing for glider category rating and for currently certificated glider pilots who wish to improve their knowledge. Certificated flight instructors will find this handbook a valuable training aid, since detailed coverage of aeronautical decision-making, components and systems, aerodynamics, flight instruments, performance limitations, ground operations, flight maneuvers, traffic patterns, emergencies, soaring weather, soaring techniques, and cross-country flight is included. Topics such as radio navigation and communication, use of flight information publications, and regulations are available in other Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) publications. The discussion and explanations reflect the most commonly used practices and principles. Occasionally, the word “must” or similar language is used where the desired action is deemed critical. The use of such language is not intended to add to, interpret, or relieve a duty imposed by Title 14 of the Code of Federal Regulations (14 CFR). Persons working towards a glider rating are advised to review the references from the applicable practical test standards (FAA-G-8082-4, Sport Pilot and Flight Instructor with a Sport Pilot Rating Knowledge Test Guide, FAA-G-8082-5, Commercial Pilot Knowledge Test Guide, and FAA-G-8082-17, Recreational Pilot and Private Pilot Knowledge Test Guide). Resources for study include FAA-H-8083-25, Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, FAA-H-8083-2, Risk Management Handbook, and Advisory Circular (AC) 00-6, Aviation Weather For Pilots and Flight Operations Personnel, AC 00-45, Aviation Weather Services, as these documents contain basic material not duplicated herein. All beginning applicants should refer to FAA-H-8083-25, Pilot’s Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge, for study and basic library reference. It is essential for persons using this handbook to become familiar with and apply the pertinent parts of 14 CFR and the Aeronautical Information Manual (AIM). The AIM is available online at . The current Flight Standards Service airman training and testing material and learning statements for all airman certificates and ratings can be obtained from .This handbook supersedes FAA-H-8083-13, Glider Flying Handbook, dated 2003. Always select the latest edition of any publication and check the website for errata pages and listing of changes to FAA educational publications developed by the FAA’s Airman Testing Standards Branch, AFS-630.This handbook is available for download, in PDF format, from .This handbook is published by the United States Department of Transportation, Federal Aviation Administration, Airman Testing Standards Branch, AFS-630, P.O. Drilling Fluid & Completion Fluid ,2021, 38(4):486-491.

State Key Laboratory of Shale Oil and Gas Enrichment Mechanisms and Effective Development, Beijing 102206;2. Sinopec Research Institute of Petroleum Engineering, Beijing 102206)Abstract The mechanical properties and microstructure of self-healing cement were studied. The adding amount of self -healing emulsion was 0, 5%, 10%, 15% and 20% respectively. The samples were cured under the condition of 90 degrees in the water for 3days. The results showed that the elastic modulus of cement decreased with the incorporation of self-healing emulsion. With the increase of the dosage, the elastic modulus of cement decreased significantly. The strength of self-healing cement paste was higher than that of normal oil well cement. The compressive strength was higher with small amount addition, and the increase of flexural strength was greater with increase of addition. The microstructure of hydroxide crystal appeared scattered and loose instead of regular hexagonal. Self-healing colloidal particles were distributed between the network structures of hydration product gel. The porosity was reduced and the average and most probable pore size increased of self-healing cement.
