It is common for students to attend job fairs, send their resumes to companies or look for job adverts in newspapers but now more and more students are turning to the Internet in their search for a job. What is one major advantage or disadvantage of hunting for jobs on the Internet? 写作范⽂ The Internet Makes Job Hunting More Efficient The rapid development of the Internet gives rise to the phenomenon of applying for jobs online. It is commonplace to submit one's resume and recommendation letters via the Internet and a large number of graduates are employed via online tests. I would like to focus on one major advantage which is that job hunting becomes more efficient when it is done online. One of the pronounced advantages of online job hunting is that it is more efficient since potential candidates do not have to travel to other cities where the job is. The rise of online interviews provides even more convenience both for the employees and the employers. Furthermore, graduates can get access to considerably more information online since there are a number of websites dedicated to job hunting. The Internet has rendered the whole process more effective and efficient. Graduates can select several categories and narrow down their options. In a way, the Internet serves as a gigantic database and matches graduates with their potential employers. However, it is undeniable that an online interview can only reflect some aspects of a candidate. I believe that in order to gauge a person's potential and aptitude face-to-face interview is imperative. In conclusion, the efficiency and effectiveness of the Internet for job seekers is a huge advantage which is reflected in the growing number of positions available online.(226 words) 更多作⽂精彩句⼦ 1.More and more graduates are resorting to the Internet for employment.

As a middle school student, self-discipline is crucial for learning English. It is not enough to simply attend classes and do homework. To truly excel in the language, one must take the initiative to practice and study on their own.One of the ways I practice self-discipline in learning English is by setting goals for myself. For example, I may aim to learn 10 new vocabulary words each day or to read one article in English per week. By setting achievable goals, I am able to track my progress and stay motivated.Another way I practice self-discipline is byeliminating distractions. When I am studying or practicing English, I make sure to turn off my phone and avoid social media. This allows me to focus on the task at hand and make the most of my study time.Additionally, I utilize resources such as online language-learning platforms and English language podcasts to supplement my classroom learning. By taking advantage of these resources, I am able to expose myself to a variety of English language materials and improve my listening and speaking skills.Overall, self-discipline is essential for success in learning English. By setting goals, eliminating distractions, and utilizing resources, I am able to make the most of my English language education.

Ms Nancy didn't mind at all ______ to the ceremony.A. being not invitedB. not being invitedC. not invitingD. not to be invitedB2."_____ your meeting is!" he offered them his sincere congratulations.A. How a great successB. What a great successC. How great successD. What great successB success
故排除C,D;A中how是副词,如改成how great a success就是正确的。
3. We must remember that _____fashion is not the most important thing in _______ life.A. /; theB. /; /C. the; /D. the; theB
4. It _____ quite a few years _____ the accused was declared innocent and set free.A. was; sinceB. is; thatC. will be; whenD. was; beforeD 如将A项中was, since改成is, since是正确的;即从句中谓语先发生。

Do you agree or disagree with the following statement? It is not necessary for university students to attend classes as long as they can pass their examinations.
It is really deeply rooted in popular thinking that the most important responsibility of college students is to pursue their course of study to the best of their ability. For many people, this involves attending every class. However, I don’t believe it is necessary for university students to attend classes so long as they can pass their examinations.
To begin with, there is no proven correlation between class attendance and performance in a course. Dr. Radley, Dean of Students at a college, admits that there are no studies proving that attendance improves course performance. While attendance may mean that the student who does nothing but come to class may learn something just by sitting there, this is not necessarily the case for most students. On the other hand, students who skip classes may turn out to be remarkable achievers.
In addition, driven by the passion to explore, and an insatiable thirst for knowledge, these students can make the most constructive use of time thus gained. The lectures of some teachers at the college are not always educational. These instructors merely repeat in class material from the assigned textbooks or waste class time by telling irrelevant stories. In this case, if a hardworking student doesn’t find this in-class experience worthwhile, he can put his time to better use. For example, he may do some research work in the library to add to his store of knowledge, conduct an experiment to reinforce his understanding of a theory, or attend a lecture so as to keep abreast of the latest trend in a particular field.
Some people may disprove of the freedom of college students not to attend classes, for fear that they should make unwise use of time or they are incapable of handling their studies alone. This fear, I’m afraid is groundless. For one thing, college students are adults and they should be treated like adults. Allowing students to decide when and how often to attend class encourages responsible behavior. For another, since the students can pass the examinations without attending classes, I’m sure that they have a fairly good command of the basics, and are capable enough to overcome the stumbling blocks in their studies. Actually, this goes a long way towards cultivating learning autonomy, too.
Attending classes every day is like a beaten track; people simply take it without asking why. More often than not, however, it is good to venture beyond the beaten track, as the adventure itself can be surprisingly rewarding.。
