"My brother Andrew has something bad growing in-side his head and my daddy says only a miracle

the salesman said with a smile. "Listen, if it isn't enough, I can try and get some more. Just tell me

A well-dressed man heard it and aske,d "What kind of a miracle does your brother need?"

"How much do you have?" asked the man. "$ 1.11, but I can try and get some more," she

All she knew was that he was very sick and they had no money可知答案。
Only a miracle can save him now小女孩听了之后便翻出她所有的"积蓄"去药店 购买 miracl e ,由此可见,小女孩可能认为 miracle 是一种什么很神奇的药。注: miracle的实际意思是"奇迹",Only a
miracle can save him now的意思是"只有出现 奇迹才可能救得了他 " 。
I can try and get some more后其实省略了 money — 词,句意为 " 我会想办法弄更多钱来的 " 。
