Directions: You are required to write a counter-offer for a reduction in price based on the following offer with correct format, smooth and idiomatic expressions.

Situation: suppose you are Linda, working at American International Foreign Trade Co., Ltd (importer), you received the following offer from Susan Tan, the junior assistant of Shanghai Textiles Import and Export Co. (exporter). You find the prices are beyond your expectation. You reply soon and ask if she can make a 8% reduction in price on an order of 1,500 pcs. (You are required to state the reasons).
