为了将语段阅读和语言运用题的解答相结合,我们先了解这些语法单位的特点，理顺句子结构及句与句之间的结构关系，磨刀不误砍柴工。

下面从大到小逐一介绍语法单位：(一)句群句群也叫“句组”或“语段”,是指结构上前后连贯、具有一个中心意思的一组句子。

根据用途,可分为叙述句群、描写句群、抒情句群、议论句群、说明句群五种; 根据层次多少,可分为简单句群和多重句群两类。

一个句群至少要有两个句子,句群的每个句子以句号、叹号或问号等标点为标志。

一个复句无论多么复杂, 多么长, 也只是一个句子而不是句群。

一个句群, 有一个中心语意。

句群中的句子从不同的角度表达中心语意。

能集中表达中心语意的句子,叫中心句。
