一、课程设置
1、课程定位
大学英语课程是我校所有的非英语专业学生必修的一门公共基础课程。它服务于该专业人才培养计划中的专业培养目标，服务于学生英语应
用水平的需要。课程遵循“应用为主，够用为度”的原则，在专业课
程体系中凸显其基础性地位和工具性作用。它既符职业教育培养应用
人才和具有一定文化水平和专业知识技能的劳动者的基本培养目标，
更是体现中国加入世贸之后，就业市场对职业教育培养高等双语应用
型人才所提出的更高目标。
2、课程目标
我校大学英语课程的基本教学目标是既要使学生掌握实用的英语语言
知识和交际水平，使学生在今后的工作和社会交往中能用英语有效地
实行书面和口语的信息交流，同时要增强学生自主学习水平，提升综
合文化素养，以适合社会发展和国际交流的需要。具体量化为以下三
个方面：
（1）知识目标，主要就是指完成大学英语课程每学期设置的教学计划，包括指定的教材和规定的课时，并通过各种方式以确保学生掌握一定
量的实用英语语言知识；
（2）水平目标，主要是指英语语言的五大基本技能：听说读写译以及
英语等级证书考试的应试水平。而后一项水平，主要根据社会和用人
单位的需要所设定的。
（3）素质目标，以端正学生学习态度，培养学生学习水平，提升学生
综合素质为内容的一项认知性目标。
3、课程设计
我们在课程设计上主要体现三个结合：
首先，课堂教学与课外学习相结合，在抓好课堂教学的同时，充分发
挥展开课外教学活动的优势。
其次，基础教学与等级考试相结合，为了增加学生就业时的竞争力，
将课程安排与等级考试同步实行。
最后，基础英语与行业英语相结合，课程实施注重工学结合，将基础
英语与行业英语结合。
二、教学内容
1、内容选择与序化
我校大学英语课程选用的是以教育部立项的大学英语课程的《新视野
大学英语》的系列教材，有《读写教程》和《听说教程》两条主线：《读写教程》由学生用书，教师用书和《综合练习》组成，《听说教程》由学生用书和教师用书组成。
结合我校学生的基础和特点以及教学的工作安排，我们将教学内容从
以下三个方面来序化：
时间顺序即四个学期，由易到难，依次安排教材，一学期打基础，二、三学期配合等级考试，最后一学期与行业英语结合；
空间顺序即普通教室与语音室交替使用；
过程顺序既包含“基础-应试-职业水平”这个培养过程，又包括每次
课堂的教学活动的合理序化教学活动的过程。总之，在对该教材的具
体教学内容教学选择时，以实用性为依据，开放性和综合性为导向，
培养学生的自主性为目的。
2、表现形式
为了确保课程目标的实现，教学任务的完成，在教学内容的表现形式
上必须坚持齐备性，适用性，先进性和特色性。我校主要是采取的课
堂讲授为主，多媒体教室和设备以及网络资源为辅助的表现形式，同
时根据具体内容的特点和需要辅以实物展示，模拟，游戏等各种形式。特别是针对学前教育的学生，能够让学生们模拟课堂教学和游戏环节，从而找到与专业知识的联系点。
三、教学设计
1、教学模式
紧紧围绕职业教育工学结合的特点，结合大学英语课程的教学目标，
我们主要选用了以下三种模式：
传递---接受式，探究式和自由学习模式。基本教学程序是：复习旧课—激发学习动机—讲授新课—巩固练习—检查评价—间隔性复习。主
要用于于知识目标的教学任务。
探究式教学以问题解决为中心的，注重学生的独立活动，着眼于学生
的思维水平的培养，基本程序是：问题—假设—推理—验证——总结
提升。它主要应用于完成水平目标教学任务，而且教师要建立一个民
主宽容的教学环境，充分发挥学生的思维水平，掌握学生的前认知特
点实施一定的教学策略。
最后是自由学习模式，基本教学程序是：设置情境——激发动机——
组织教学——应用新知——检测评价——巩固练习——拓展与迁移。
教师在利用这种模式的时候，要时常提醒学生实行反思自己的学习行为。要考虑各种步骤的组成要素，根据不同情况有所侧重。这是完成
素质目标所需要的模式。
2、方法手段
根据其对学生要求的水准变化，由易入难，依次有四种常用的教学方法：合作学习法，任务教学法，交际互动教学法和头脑风暴法。其中
头脑风暴(Brain-storming) 最早是精神病理学上的用语，指精神病患
者的精神错乱状态来说的，现在转而为无限制的自由联想和讨论，其
目的在于产生新观点或激发创新设想。这个方法只有当学生的语言水
平达到一定水平，用以拓展学生的综合思维水平的一种方法。主要使
用于课前主题导入和课后发散思维。而合作学习法，任务教学法和交
际互动教学法，都是教学中常见的用于讲解，使用和巩固知识的方法。
3、保障条件
学院拥有一支具有能胜任本课程教学需要的专兼结合的教学队伍，而
且也从各个方面积极着手于能够满足实训要求的校内外的实训硬软件
建设。我们的教师队伍有教龄长达20多年的经验丰富的老教师，全部
都具有大学以上学历和助教职称，还有三分之一的教师已取得讲师职称。而且教师们持续采取集体备课，互相听课，研讨学习等方法以改
进教学方法，改善教学效果。外聘教师中既有英美籍人士，也有旅居
海外多年的博士。同时，坚持讲课程讲授与课外活动相结合。丰富的
第二课堂和英语学习活动相结合，英语角、英语歌曲竞赛、英语演讲
竞赛、英语试教竞赛、英语学习方法讲座、原版英文电影、英语广播
等不但能使学生形成良好的英语语感，还能提升学生应用英语的水平。更加充分的利用网络资源，建立教学资源库，增强英语视听练习和口
语技能的提升，也是我们今后教学的努力方向。同时我们也在考虑是
否可开设多门英语相关内容的选修课供学生选择，拓宽学生知识面，
提升学习英语的兴趣。
四、教学效果评价
教学评价：受到开设此课程的各系领导和学生的广泛好评。特别是中
文系有部分学生在完成三级，四级等级考试后，成功冲刺六级，极大
地增强气自信心和就业竞争力。
社会评价：在每年的社会实践和教师招聘中广受注重和好评。每年毕
业时，都会收到来自各企业的用人订单。
五．特设与创新
紧紧抓住职业教育的特点和需求，突出两个结合：基础知识与行业知
识的结合；培养人才与社会需求的结合。

To attain “four skills” request of listening, speaking, reading and writing, I will have the students do some exercise about the text. 3. Such a topic is very important in this unit. I will lead the students to use their imagination and encourage them to be creative. For example, helping them use English to describe their imaginary transportation. So I think if the students can learn this lesson well, it will be helpful to make them learn the rest of this unit.
