三、重点解析

1.that/one/it

1)that代替[the+名词],常用于有对比的语境,与所对比的名词同类不同一。

The weather here is warmer than that in Beijing. 这儿的天气比北京暖和。

No pleasure can equal that caused by success. 啥也比不了成功带来的快

乐。

2)one 代替[a+可数名词的单数],非特指意义。

She has a nice large house, one many people admires.他有一处很多人羡慕的漂

亮大房子。

The one可代替[the+可数名词的单数],常有前置或后置定语,具有特指、限

定的意义。

Have you seen my pen? The one you used yesterday.看见我的笔没有?就是你

昨天用那只.

3)It特指前文出现过的同一事物,一般不能有定语。

—Have you seen my pen? —Is it the one I used yesterday? It is on my desk.

—看见我的笔没有?—是不是我昨天用的那只?在我桌上。

2.think类词(think, suppose, believe, feel, expect)有否定转移的特点。

I don’t think you are working hard enough. (我认为你学习不够用功)。

★当这些词的主语是I和We时,其反意问句由后面的从句决定。其它情况由主

句决定。

1)I/We don’t think you are working hard enough, are you?

2)He does n’t think you are working hard enough, does he?

3.so/nor/neither句型(So/Nor/Neither do I等)

4.说明对某事的态度,用to/towords.如:

your attitude to/towards life 你对生活的态度。

对某人某事的态度的形容词,也用to.

He is very good /kind /friendly/polite/rude to me. 他对我很好/很友好/有礼貌/粗

鲁。

Module 2

一、重点句子

1.My first impression of Mrs Li was that she was nervous and shy.

2.She explains English grammar so clearly that even I can understand it.

三、重点解析

1.注意记忆一些常用的后面跟ing的动词如:avoid / enjoy / finish / practise / risk /

appreciate / escape / mind / consider / advise / admit / suggest / allow / forbid …+

doing…

可以跟不定式和ing形式但意义不同的如:forget/remember/stop/try doing / to

do …具体细节详见练习册有关章节。

2.注意记忆一些常考的不可数名词如:fun/progress/equipment/information/news

3.注意一些特殊的名词用法如:a /one / two means/series/species 单复数一样(写法

象复数)。

Every means has been tried./All means have been tried. 一切办法都试过了。

4.so that/so…that…/such…that…

5.(1) prefer (doing) sth to / rather than / instead of (doing) sth

(2)prefer to do… rather than do…

(3)would do… rather than do… →Rather than do…, …would do…

(4) would rather do … than do…

I prefer walking to school to / rather than / instead of cycling.

I prefer to walk to school rather than cycle.

我更喜欢步行去上学,而不是骑车。

I would rather die than give up. 我死也不放弃。

6.不定式省略时,必须保留to

1)—Would you like to take a walk with me? —I’d love to, But I am not free.

—愿意同我去散步吗?—很愿意,但没空。(= I’d love to take a walk with

you.)

2)We wanted to watch TV, but our teacher told us not to.

我们想看电视,但老师叫我们别看。(= our teacher told us not to watch TV)

7.with结构。with+名词或代词+其他成分是一个很常见的结构,可以表示伴随、

方式、原因、时间等。后面可跟非谓语动词(不定时、ing形式、过去分词)、介

词短语、形容词等。

1)I am nervous with you sitting beside me.

你坐在我的身边我感到很紧张。(ing形式具有主动意义,表示伴随或正在

发生)

2)With so many exercises to to, I even have no time to go to the toilet.

这么多作业要做,我连上厕所的时间都没有。(不定时具有将来意义,还未

发生)

3)With the window glass broken, the wind blew straight in onto me.

窗玻璃破了,风对直吹到我的身上。(ed形式具有被动意义,表示状态) 注意:with是介词,不能跟句子,句子要用连词as.

4)With the winter coming, It is getting colder and colder. 随着冬天的来临,天

气越来越冷.

5)As the winter is coming, It is getting colder and colder. 随着冬天的来临,天

气越来越冷.

8.一种常见考法

9.dare是敢的意思,是一个普通动词。后跟不定式。

1)She dares to go out at night. 她敢夜晚出去。(三单加s)

2)She doesn’t dare to go out at night.她不敢夜晚出去。(否定句用do/does/did)

否定句也可象情态动词那样用:

She daren’t go out at night. 直接加not, 跟动词原形。

5.不及物动词和连系动词

注意汉语说“发生某事”,英语说Something happens.(某事发生)。Happen是一

个典型的不及物动词,不能有宾语,也不能用于被动语态。连系动词也如此。

其他如:

1)The plane took off soon. (飞机很快起飞了) (错误#@*!:was

taken off)

2) A war/fight/quarrel broke out. (爆发了战争/发生了打架事件/发生了争吵)

3)The water feels very cold.(这水感觉很冷) (错误#@*!:is

felt)

6.交界处考查。

7.注意有些动词后面可以跟to do或doing,但意思不同。如stop/remember/forget

doing/todo等,更多的信息见练习册。

8.very修饰原级,much修饰比较级,更多的见练习册。This is very good. That is

much better.

9.部分名词短语可当连词用,如the first time, the moment, every time等。

3.before/while/when的典型句型

4.to/in/on/off 等介词表示方位

相对于中国(China)大陆而言:

5.注意下列表达法中复数与单数的用法

4)The bus station is five minutes’ walk.(时间表达法,可用名词复数的所有格)

1)Please remain seated until the bus comes to a complete stop.(车未停稳,请坐

好别动)

3)He remains ill though he has taken a lot of medicine.(尽管吃了很多药,他身

7.the number of的谓语用单数,a number of的谓语用复数。
