凹凸棒土的改性及其对二甲苯异构体的吸附性能

摘要:采用酸化处理和十六烷基三甲基溴化铵对凹凸棒土(简称凹土)进行改性,利用N 2吸附‐脱附和FT ‐IR 对所得凹土样品进行表征,并通过静态吸附实验研究了它们对二甲苯异构体的吸附行为,考察了初始质量分数、处理方式等对其吸附性能的影响。结果表明,凹土对二甲苯异构体的平衡吸附量随着异构体初始质量分数的增大而增大,相同条件下间二甲苯在凹土上的吸附量大于其他异构体;经过酸化处理和有机物改性后的凹土对二甲苯异构体的吸附性能优于原土,对间二甲苯的吸附量可达到74.06mg /g 。二甲苯异构体在凹凸棒土上的吸附符合Langmuir 方程。

Chan g z hou Univ ersit y ,Chan g z hou 213164,China )Abstract :Attapulgite was treated by acid and modified with hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide to obtain alter ‐attapulgte .T he attapulgite and modified attapulgite samples were characterized by FT ‐IR and BET .A static adsorption equilibrium experiment of C 8aromatics in liquid phase was carried out with the modified attapulgite samples as adsorbent ,and the influences of C 8aromatics initial concentration and modification methods for attapulgite were investigated .T he results showed that the equilibrium adsorption capacity of xylene on attapulgite increased with the increase of their initial concentration ,and the equilibrium adsorption capacity of meta ‐xylene (MX )was the biggest among xylene isomers .T he xylene had a higher adsorption capacity on attapulgite samples modified by acid and CT AB than on the unmodified attapulgite ,w hile the maximum adsorption capacity of meta ‐xylene on the modified attapulgite was about 74.06mg /g .T he adsorption behavior of xylene isomers on attapulgite was consistent with Langmuir isotherm equation .Key words :attapulgite modification ;xylene isomers ;adsorption ;adsorption kinetics

二甲苯是工业上生产多种化学产品的主要原料,

在甲苯歧化装置分离和重整汽油、裂解汽油和煤焦

油分离中常得到二甲苯的异构体。邻二甲苯(OX )、

间二甲苯(MX )和对二甲苯(PX )的沸点较接近[1],

传统的精馏分离难以实现,且能源消耗巨大。吸附
