罗斯和朱丽计划合养一只猫;

【Season 1 Index】 Episode 101 : The One Where Monica Gets A New Roommate (Pilot) Episode 102 : The One With The Sonogram At The End Episode 103 : The One With The Thumb Episode 104 : The One With George Stephanopoulos Episode 105 : The One With The East German Laundry Detergent Episode 106 : The One With The Butt Episode 107 : The One With The Blackout Episode 108 : The One Where Nana Dies Twice Episode 109 : The One Where Underdog Gets Away Episode 110 : The One With The Monkey Episode 111 : The One With Mrs. Bing Episode 112 : The One With The Dozen Lasagnas Episode 113 : The One With The Boobies Episode 114 : The One With The Candy Hearts Episode 115 : The One With The Stoned Guy Episode 116 : The One With Two Parts, Part 1

【102】The One With The Sonogram At The End antique’s No.2 The One With the Sonogram at the End 1.Rachel: Everything you need to know is in that first kiss. 2.Chandler: Yeah, I think for us, kissing is pretty much like an opening act, y'know? I mean it's like the stand-up comedian you have to sit through before Pink Floyd comes out. 3.Marsha: Well, she has issues. Do you have any issues? 4.Carol: Marty's still totally paranoid. 5.Rachel: Oh, like I wasn't dreading tomorrow enough, having to give it back to him... 'Hi Barry! Remember me? I'm the girl in the veil who stomped on your heart in front of your entire family!' Oh God and now I'm gonna have to return the ring, without the ring, which makes it so much harder... 6.Chandler: Kinda puts that whole pillow thing in perspective, huh, Mon?“kinda”在片中出现的次数非常频繁,也是口语中非常实用的词语,意思是有一点儿,相当于kind of. 7.Monica: I know this is going to sound unbelievably selfish, but, were you planning on bringing up the whole baby/lesbian thing? Because I think it might take some of the heat off me.Ross和Monica的父母来看望他们,由于从小父母就喜欢Ross(因为Ross成绩优异,为人老实,而

This backfires when Joey visits the office and confronts him. Phoebe reads the group's tea leaves to tell their fortunes. Her own leaves tell her she's about to meet the man of her dreams. She does meet someone (Jim), but her turns out to be a creep. But then she meets another guy (Parker) who seems more promising(adj. Ross realizes he's left his favorite shirt at Mona's apartment. He tries to retrieve(v.拿回) it when she's not there, but gets caught. Monica: Joey, you have to talk to her! Joey: No-no, I can’t! I can’t! Not after the other night, it’s just it’s…too weird, okay? Don’t tell her I’m here! (Turns to run to the bathroom and his bagel falls off the plate onto the floor.) Don’t eat that! (Runs to the bathroom as Rachel enters.) Rachel: Hey! Chandler: Hey! Monica: Hey Rachel! Rachel: Is Joey here? Chandler:I don’t see him. (To Monica) Do you see him? Monica:I don’t see him. Hey! Maybe he’s in the sugar bowl! (Opens the sugar bowl) Joey? Nope! 【101】The One Where Monica Gets a New Roommate antique’s NO.1 The One Where Monica Gets a New Roommate 或者the one where,或者the one which... 1. Chandler :So does he have a hump? A hump and a hairpiece? 2. Ross: I just feel like someone reached down my throat, grabbed my small intestine, pulled it out of my mouth and tied it around my neck.. 3. Ross:Why does everyone keep fixating on that? Remember:fixate on sth. 4. Joey: Strip joint! C'mon, you're single! Have some hormones! 5. Rachel: I realized that I was more turned on by this gravy boat than by Barry! And then I got really freaked out, and that's when it hit me: how much Barry looks like Mr. Potato Head. 这句话里面有三个词组需要解释,第一个是turn on,也就是打开的意思,比如turn on the radio,这里是指让某人更兴奋激动的意思,想一想,平时在路上走,这时候有个sexy美女路过,你就可以说:wow,the gal really turns me on.第二个是freak out,这个词组很重要,几乎在每集都能听到,频率高的吓人,看来口语中很实用,在论坛上我看到以下几种解释,觉得不错,a.have an extreme reaction to sth b.act abnormally (under the influence of drugs) c.make sb feel extreme plaesure or unease,也就是表达焦躁害怕不安等情绪的意思。 6. Joey: You got screwed. 7. Paul: No, it's, it's more of a fifth date kinda revelation.

【501】The One After Ross Says Rachel 1."toe the line" means put your toe exactly on the line, and eventually this phrase means do something as prescribed, or according to rules and customs. Here, Monica want Rachel to react reasonably to Ross's slipping out her name on the alter instead of Emily. "Thread the Needle" indicates using two eyes gives you depth perception. "Think outside the box." means don't let stereotypes keep you away from what could be exciting opportunities. Monica hopes that Rachel can move on and stop clinging to Ross anymore, it can lead her to nowhere. God, Monica IS a good learner in High School! In such a hot moment for her, she can still recall all these incisive comments, although Rachel apparently think nothing of these good advise. 【502】The One With All The Kissing 1."calling the shots"好像最初是打台球时说的. I'm calling the shots". 2."by the edges",哈哈. 3.Rachel: All right, you're the boss. I guess I gotta do what you tell me. Joey: Say that to him and you're golden. 的含义有: 搞定,干得好(complete,good to go,alright); 等于you're sooo.. sweet;很high 4.it just bums me out;I was bummed too 都是让我很难过,失望的意思 5.I call shotgun 我坐(汽车)前座! 【503】The One Hundredth 1.Fonz 是谁?
