Reading: My First Work Assignment “Unforgettable”, says new journalist

一.目标确定的依据

课程标准相关要求:

《普通高中英语课程标准》对高二年级应达到七级语言技能阅读的目标要求是:

(1)能从一般性文章中获取和处理主要信息;

(2)能理解文章主旨,作者意图;

(3)能通过上下文克服生词困难,理解语篇意义;

二.全国考试大纲

要求考生能读懂书、报、杂志中关于一般性话题的简短文段以及公告、说明、广告等,并能

从中获取相关信息。考生应能:

(1)理解主旨大意(2)理解文中具体信息(3)根据上下文推断单词和短语的含义

(4)做出判断和推理(5)理解文章的基本结构(6)理解作者的意图、观点和态度

三. 教材分析

本单元的中心话题是“新闻”,选自于人教版高中必修五Unit 4 Making the News。内容涉及新闻工作者应该具备的素质和新闻采访的基本程序等。并通过一个新手Zhou Yang和他的上司Hu Xin 之间的谈话引导学生了解这一内容。通过本单元的学习,学生能了解新闻采

访、新闻出版的基本程序,并能学习写一篇新闻报道。这是一个非常贴近生活,具有社会意

义、可挖掘性强同时有助于提升学生核心素养的教学主题。

热身(Warming up)部分引导学生谈论生活的unforgettable moments。这部分的目的是为

呈现下一环节的猜标题做好铺垫,激活学生头脑中的难忘瞬间,激发他们对此话题的兴趣,

为整篇文章的学习做好铺垫作用。

读前(Pre-reading)通过课文标题和图片进行猜测,并谈论What would make the first day at work “unforgettable”?

读中(While-reading)部分通过一个跃跃欲试的新手和他上司间的谈话引导学生了解新

闻工作者应该具备的素质和新闻采访的基本程序以及采访应该注意的要点。主要设计了几个

活动,第一部分,粗读快读文章,解决读前预测问题和文章主旨大意。第二部分,细读精读

文章,捕捉文章的详细信息,同时在这部分勾画新手的提问和细化文章的结构也着重处理了

文本理解和文本结构。第三部分,这部分着重培养和提升学生思维能力,通过阅读文章,对

于一个好的新闻工作者所应具备的素质进行归纳总结和发散思维。

读后(Post-reading)环节着重培养运用知识能力和起到情感内化的作用,不仅需要将

阅读中所学习的新闻工作者所具备的素质进行运用和展现,同时进行了情景创设,启发学生对于未来工作要求的进一步思考。

四. 学情分析

(1)所教班级学生英语水平整体较好,但也存在个别学生的能力差异,因此应该有梯度地

设置任务,使用分层教学和小组活动等形式,提高学生的参与度,使不同层次的学生有机会

展示自己,获得成就感,体验学习的快乐。

(2)同时,该班原任英语老师已在阅读课前对本单元的重点单词和课文中的重点单词和表

达做了细致处理,为学生扫清了阅读中可能出现的单词障碍,因此在本节阅读课的处理中将

在阅读中巩固单词学习但不会专门强调,而着重培养学生的阅读能力的训练以及学生思维能

力的提升。

五 .教学目标

学完本课之后,学生将

能够正确掌握职业素质的词汇和短语:curious,active personality,enthusiasm for the job,professional, honest等并运用有关职业素质的词汇和短语发表自己的看法。

2.Ability Objectives:

通过阅读本单元课文,学生能够

(1)梳理文本结构,理解作者写作意图,做出判断和推理,并根据不同阅读材料使用不同

的阅读策略以达到阅读目的。比如对skimming,scanning ,predicting,catching the structure 等阅读技巧和能力的训练和提升。

(2)根据课文标题和图片推测文章大意,并能对文章主题进行设问。

(3)能应用逻辑性和发散性思维获取文本信息,并借助文本词汇和内容表达自己对future job所需素质的看法。

3. Emotion Objectives:

通过课文的学习,学生能够

了解新闻工作者应该具备的素养和新闻采访的基本程序和采访注意要点,并通过谈论自身的unforgettable moments和对未来理想工作所需素质的思考和小组讨论和作者产生共鸣,

起到情感升华和培养学生合作学习的能力。

六.评价任务

(1)共同讨论,核对学案答案,为读后活动做准备。

(2)以小组为单位互助合作,以文本为载体,发表自己的看法。
