The impacts of this situation where children are unsupervised are obvious. For instance, some youngsters use their silence to express their bitterness, resentment and anger for being made to live in this fashion. In the long run, they will have feelings of isolation and void. As a result, they may undermine their self-assurance, which is detrimental to their future development. Worst of all, it is their going on the road of crime that cause the most horrible result, which is connected with everyone. The phenomenon of left-behind children is widespread in our society. It is a compelling situation which demands not only parents but also the whole society to take it into consideration and cope with it.From my point of view, our college students should take responsibility to contribute our own love to these children. Conversing with them is an advisable and effective way to help them. The Problem of Left-behind Children During the past 30 years, with the economic development of China, more and more young people who once lived in the countryside crowd into cities with the purpose of earning enough money to support their families. Consequently, the problem of left-behind children arises. The problem actually reflects the fact that there are millions of left-behind children facing not only living problems but also psychological problems and the latter ones count. Most left-behind children live with their grandparents. Lacking in the knowledge of how to educate children, some of their grandparents tend to spoil them while some may pay little attention to them.Feeling lonely, left-behind children are more likely to form the habit of keeping silent or staying aloneand as a result, most of them don’t do well in their study, which makes them feel inferior.Though I can’t list out every aspect of this problem, I am sure it is rather serious. Good morning everyone, I’m glad to give you a speech about the left-behind children. Nowadays, more and more people go from country to big cities to work.
