考生必备知识:PET口语考试的题型设计

PET口语为两个考生一组考试,考试时间为十分钟左右,整个考试过程共分为四个部分

1.简单的个人信息

考官在这个部分会询问考生一些简单的个人信息,虽然题目不是很难,但若是回答的比较出色,会给考官留下很好的印象,也可以减轻考生的心理压力。这部分考试中,考官一定会问考生, What is your name,和What is your surname.考官问这个问题,更重要的意义在于使考官区分考生,方便记分。但考生在回答What is your surname? And how to spell it?(你姓什么?怎么拼写?)的时候,错误频出,要么分不清姓和名的区别,要么不知道怎么拼,汉语拼法和英语的拼法混为一谈,结果让人啼笑皆非,闹出很多笑话。

这部分考试中,考官考查的问题主要集中在以下几个方面:个人的兴趣爱好,家庭,学校,活动等。问题多围绕考生的日常生活展开。

考官的问题相对比较简单,但希望考生给出比较完整和充分的回答。举个例子。考官通常会问,What is your favorite subject at school? (在学校你最喜欢什么课?),考生如果简单回答English,或者My favorite subject is English,都不是理想的回答。考生如果能回答,My favorite subject is English, because I think it is very interesting and useful. (我最喜欢的科目是英语,因为我觉得英语很有意思,而且以后也很有用处),这样则相对来说是很让考官满意的回答,成绩也就相对比较高。2.看图片,完成任务

这部分考试中,考官会给考生一张图片,并且会给考生描述一个情景,让两位考生一起讨论。图片里面通常会包括五个东西。考生需要把每个小图都要进行讨论,并按照题目中的要求进行取舍。

这部分的主要问题是,第一:考生的语言比较单一,不够生动活泼;第二:两考生配合比较差,互动比较差。就好像,两个考生各自的语言相对比较好,但连起来看却并没有多少关系,完全不像对话,两个人不过是各说各的而已。这样大家的成绩都不会特别高。

结合笔者在课堂上的经验,现在总结一些本部分考试中比较方便的句型,仅供大家参考。

表达对事物的看法:

对对方意见的评价

3、PET考试专家告诉你描述图片的最佳方式

在描述图片这部分考试中,考官会给每个考生一张彩色的图片,让考生分别描述自己拿到的图片,考试时间为一分钟。这两张图片在内容虽然不相同,但一定是相互关联的。这部分问题在于,考生往往说不到一分钟的时候就已经江郎才尽,完全不知道该说什么了。

剑桥在给考生准备这部分彩图的时候也是煞费苦心,彩图的内容也比较丰富,一定会有人,有物,而且还会给他们放在一个特定的场景中,所以考生只要从这三个方面仔细描述,说满一分钟肯定不是问题。

但切忌只抓住图里面的某一个人或者某一个东西,描述个没完没了。笔者课堂上就曾经有一位同学,整幅图上都在描述一个孩子,恨不得连他早饭吃了什么都想说出来,当然这个在图片上肯定没有表示,所以弄到最后,半分钟还没到,他就已经不知道该说什么好了。

另外,准备着部分考试的时候,切忌把自己当成图片里的主人公,全篇都在说自己的事情,虽然说满了一分钟,但最后肯定只能落下个不及格的下场,费力而不讨好。

4、备考PET口语考试自由讨论部分需要注意的几点

笔者比较喜欢称PET口语考试中的最后一个部分为自由讨论,因为相对于前面三部分考试,这部分考生自由发挥的空间是最大的。通常情况下,这部分的话题会延续第三部分图片的内容。这部分的问题跟第二部分有些相似,不外乎用词用句比较单一,单薄,整个对话很不连贯,不流畅。而且因为这部分考生自由发挥的空间相对大一些,所以,笔者模拟考场上见过考生,两个考生分别说了一大段话,第二轮发言还没开始,考试时间就已经到了,这样肯定会影响考生的成绩。

3、通过活动,使学生养成博览群书的好习惯。

B比率分析法和比较分析法不能测算出各因素的影响程度。√

C采用约当产量比例法,分配原材料费用与分配加工费用所用的完工率都是一致的。X

C采用直接分配法分配辅助生产费用时,应考虑各辅助生产车间之间相互提供产品或劳务的情况。错C产品的实际生产成本包括废品损失和停工损失。√

C成本报表是对外报告的会计报表。×

C成本分析的首要程序是发现问题、分析原因。×

C成本会计的对象是指成本核算。×

C成本计算的辅助方法一般应与基本方法结合使用而不单独使用。√

C成本计算方法中的最基本的方法是分步法。X

K E T/P E T口语考试中常遇见的七个问题第一个问题:很多孩子居然不知道怎么正确回答关于名字的问题。 当考官问What's your name的时候,孩子一定要用中文来回答;当考官问What's your surname的时候,孩子一定要回答自己的姓,千万不要回答自己的名,因为在英国,只有姓是不一样的。当考官问Can you spell your surname的时候,孩子一定要应英文字母的发音来回答考官,千万不要用拼音的方式来回答! 第二个问题:很多考生不会回答Why开头的问句。 当考官问孩子Why do you like maths 很多孩子回答Because it's difficut.这种回答问题的逻辑是错误的。数学很难你还喜欢么按照常理,应该是不喜欢的。但如果是Why don't you like maths孩子就能这么回答。 第三个问题:孩子在回答问题时,出现背书和抱怨的情况。 当考官问孩子,What did you do yesterday?中国孩子一般就开始说,我每天晚上不是上课就是做作业,父母不让我看电视节目……这种回答是非常不合适的。英国注重素质教育,这种抱怨和背后指着人的语言,是非常不礼貌的。 还有很多孩子在回答问题的时候出现背书的情况,不注重与考官的交流,这样也是得不了好分数的。

第四个问题:孩子在回答问题的时候语调平淡、没有肢体语言辅助自己表达意思。 在语言交流中,肢体语言也是语言的一部分,语调和肢体语言是帮助表达意思的。孩子在回答考官问题的时候,遇到一些惊讶的或者难点不会回答的时候,一定要用面部表情和肢体语言来向考官表示出来。 第五个问题:词汇有限。 很多孩子在考试中都会遇到词汇有限的问题。比如castle这个单词,在中国的中考、高考系统中,很少出现,或者就不会考到,但是在剑桥五级考试中就会经常遇到。这就说明了中外文化差异的问题。所以家长不仅要让孩子学习中国的教材,还要让孩子学习国外的教材,吸收国外的知识和文化。 此外,需要特别提醒的就是,在KET/PET词表中的单词,是一定会在考试中反复出现和考到的,这点与中国的英语考试也有很大差异。 第六个问题:逻辑缺失问题。 语言的逻辑性一定是反复说、反复练习才能训练出来的,并不像一门知识一样,懂了就会了。而KET/ PET 口语不同三一口语,无法提前准备话题。这导致很多孩子在考场上因逻辑问题发挥不好而失利。这里举一个很简单的例子,比如PET考试中的看图说话部分,想获得高分,孩子要么先说画面的背景,再说人,要么就是先说人再说背景。千万不要一会说人一会说背景,这样显得逻辑混乱。 第七个问题:话题缺失的问题。

PET 考试方法和技巧一.简介: PET考试分 3 部分: Paper 1 READING/WRITING:1小时30分钟 Paper 2 LISTENING: 30 Paper 3 SPEAKING: 10-12 分钟(其中有 分钟 8 分钟誊抄答案时间) 二.考试题型和内容: READING: Part 1 (1-5 题)叫做“匹配题”,有 5 道题,每道题会有 ABC 三个选项供考生去选择,考生需要 划出关键词,然后根据意思去匹配出一个正确的选项,其实就是同义句匹配。 这种类型题会出现各种样式的小短句,主要考察的是一些公共标识、商品标签、学校通知、私人联络等。 Part 2 ( 6 -10 题)就是“8选 5”,会有五组人,然后按照他们的需求去匹配后面的A-H 8 个广告。 这种类型题目,主要话题有:买书、去博物馆、选酒店、选度假/露营场所、看电影,选衣服,选 课程,选网站等,都是需要考生根据不同需求来匹配出最佳方案。先标出需求,然后用两 个需求去筛选,就会轻松得出结论。 Part 3 ( 11- 20 题)是“阅读判断题”,会给出 10 个小句子,要求考生判断这 10 个句子是正确还是错误的。这就需求考生能够在理解句意的基础上,去原文找到答案,来验证了。 这种类型题,都是有关真实生活,选自一些杂志、宣传册广告或是网站。找对“定位词”和“关键词”,去逐一分析和判断就可以了。 Part 4 (21- 25题)是阅读理解,会有 5 道题,其中第21 题一般问作者的写作目的;22 题问读者可以得到什么信息或是启示;23-24 题是问具体细节问题;25 题就是一道“描述主人公的性格或 特征”,选出一个符合主人公特点的句子。 Part 5 (26- 35 题)这是 PET 阅读部分的最后一道题了。就是完形填空。这个部分其实很简单, 因为选材要么是一个历史故事,要么是一个科普文章,所以,一般会考察过去 时,注意先读懂一遍文章(先读每一段的首末句),掌握大意,再去精读,边读边选词。 做过这个 part 的考生可以发现每个空白处附近的一两行之内必然会有提示,注意观察和寻找就 会找到正确答案哦! 其次,这个部分还会考察一些词汇、词组辨析,如:情态动词;限定词very, much, quite, a lot, more; 代词 his, her, their, my...;介词on, in, at, with, without, of...还有就是一些关联词,表因 果的 because ,表转转的but,however ,表并列的and ,表让步、递进的though, although等。
