一、全国小学生英语竞赛(NECPS)介绍

全国小学生英语竞赛(NECPS)是经教育部有关部门同意举办的全国性小学生英语学科竞赛,是我国小学英语教学的主要激励机制之一。全国小学生英语竞赛根据教育部基础教育司关于中小学生外语测试、评估手段改革的指示精神,深化小学英语教学方法和测试方法的改革,全面培养我国小学生的英语素质,激发小学生学习英语的兴趣,激励在小学英语教与学上成绩优秀的师生。全国小学生英语竞赛分四个年级组进行:低年级组(一、二、三年级)、四年级组、五年级组和六年级组,分初赛和决赛两个程序。本竞赛面向大多数小学生,坚持自愿报名参加的原则,提倡“重在参与”的精神。

全国小学生英语竞赛在试题类型和考察的知识点方面,都强调学生对英语基础知识的把握,并重点强调学生运用英语的能力。

二、全国小学生英语竞赛(NECPS)原则

全国小学生英语竞赛(NECPS)的宗旨是全面培养小学生英语素质,激发小学生学习英语的兴趣。所以,竞赛的命题坚持适应小学生年龄的特点,培养学生爱学英语,使用英语的积极性。命题注重英语教学的基础与提高,注重学生英语潜能的开发和语言综合运用能力。

三、全国小学生英语竞赛(NECPS)范围

全国小学生英语竞赛(NECPS)的赛题以《英语课程标准》(实验稿)为依据,按照《关于积极推进小学开设英语课程的指导意见》和《小学英语课程教学基本要求》对小学生英语教学的要求而命制。竞赛范围包括英语知识、英语语言技能、综合运用能力和英语素养等方面。根据目前我国各省市小学英语教材不统一的实际情况,竞赛命题的命制参照了现行的各种教材,但不拘泥于教材,按照本年级的英语语言水平命题。

四、全国小学生英语竞赛(NECPS)内容提要

全国小学生英语竞赛(NECPS)内容是以基础知识和基本技能为本,同时又有对语言综合能力的考察。大致可分为六大类:英语基本知识、字母、语音、词汇、语法及功能意念和话题。具体如下:

1.英语基本常识

英语语言的不同历史阶段、使用范围、作用等。

五、全国小学生英语竞赛(NECPS)命题趋势

初、决赛笔试成绩满分均为100分(主观题占60%,客观题占40%),其中听力均为30分。决赛口试满分为20分。本赛题既考查学生的英语语言基础知识和基本技能,又侧重考查小学生的英语综合运用能力、阅读能力和智力水平。竞赛将借鉴国内、外英语测试新题型和测试方法,在保持题型的相对稳定性和连续性的基础上得到完善、创新。赛题内容上贴近于主要使用教材(使用标准的英式英语)、贴近学生的生活、贴近学生的生理、心理特点和认知水平;赛题容量比日常测试题大;题型稳中有变,促进对其他类型考试的复习,起到很好的热身作用;卷面图文并茂,既活泼,又严肃;智力测试题型多样化,全面考查学生的智力水平。同时,根据2007年赛题调查问卷的反馈信息,我们对2008年的赛题进行如下改革:一、序号的调整:各年级组赛题的序列号采用一贯制,即试题从听力部分的第一题开始的序号连续排到笔试部分最后一题,中间无新起始号码;二、分值的调整:听力部分的分值由以前的40分改为30分,笔试部分为70分;三、时间的调整: 听力部分的答题时间由去年的23分钟缩为15分钟左右, 以便考生有更充裕的时间完成笔试部分试题; 四、题型的调整:1. 低、四年级组赛题听力部分的第二题“句子理解”B部分将看图答题改为文字题;2. 低、四年级组赛题笔试部分的第一题“单词”改先前的孤立考单词的形式为在语境当中考查单词的运用;五、六年级组赛题笔试部分的第一题设为“单词、短语”,考查高年级学生的单词拼写能力及在语境中正确使用单词/短语的能力;3. 各年级组赛题笔试部分的第二题“单项选择”,由先前的10小题增加为15小题,扩大知识的考查范围;4. 各年级组赛题增设“完形填空”一题,侧重考查学生对语篇的理解能力;五、口试题量的调整:1. 各年级组赛题的口试部分第二题“发音检测”,在考查单词和短语的基础上增加对句子朗读的检测,由5小题改为10小题,分值不变;2. 低、四年级组赛题的口试部分,将原有的第三题的“朗读对话”改为“图片描述”。;

八、知识点详解

1.易混词(句)辨析

1)any / some

Any用于疑问句或否定句中,表示“一些”的意思。

Some 用于肯定句中,表示“一些”、“一点”等意思。如:

My father has some books. 我爸爸有一些书。

There are some trees in front of the house. 房子前面有一些树。

2)all rig ht / that’s all right

All right 表示“行,好”。还可以表示健康状态良好。如:

Mrs. Smith is all right now. 史密斯夫人完全恢复健康了。

That’s right. 不错,对了。学生答对了,老师讲评时用这句话。

That’s all right. 没关系。用于回答“Sorry”。

2.Have 短语大碰头

5.May 的用法

英语单词may 属情态动词,他的否定形式为may not (mayn’t)。may 的用法和意义有很多,常用有:

1. may 表示允许、许可,是一个较为郑重的单词。当表示许可时,它与can的用法相似。如:

May I come in? (我可以进来吗?)

2. May 表示可能。如:

This bike may be Tom’s. (这辆自行车可能是汤姆的)

在表示这种意义的疑问句和否定句中,通常用can来代替may, 以加深怀疑或犹豫之意。如:It may be Hill’s. (那可能是希尔的。)

比较:Can it be Hill’s? (那可能是希尔的吗?)It can’t be Hill’s. (那不可能是希尔的。)

2016年全国大学生英语能力竞赛攻略 学长分享英语竞赛技巧: 知己知彼百战不殆”,要想在全国大学生英语竞赛中取得好成绩,平时的积累是基础,而考前对考试的研究和分析以及练习则是升华。近几年来英语竞赛也在不断调整中。对我们来说,最重要的参考资料就是当年的竞赛样题,和官网的考试说明文件,从中我们可以了解到考试的题型、分值、时间分配、难度和新变化。只有这样我们才能对症下药,合理分配考试时间,获得最好的成绩。其实考试,一言以蔽之,就是尽量的规定时间内拿到最高的分数,分数越高,就意味着你越成功。由于每年试题结构、题型等都会有所变化,下面就以2010年的英语竞赛初赛试题为例,分析一下时间安排。今年初赛试题共分为七部分,时间120分钟,满分150分。七部分分别为听力、词汇与语法结构、完形填空、阅读理解、翻译、智力测试和写作。下面就分别进行分析。 第一部分是听力,由四部分组成,第一部分是五篇短对话,然后是两篇长对话,第三部分是五篇短新闻,第四部分是听写式填空。总分是30分,总的来说,听力的难度不算很大,应该是介于四、六级之间,大部分都可以直接从对话中找到原句和答案。但是还是有一定难度的。首先,前20道选择题都只读一遍,这和一般的考试不同,所以对选手就提出了更高的要求,必须从一开始就高度集中注意力,才能不遗漏重要信息。此外,听写式填空也是对基本知识的一个考查,经常有同学听到了却不会写,这需要我们打好自己的基础。这一部分要力争拿到20分以上。 第二部分是词汇与语法结构,这也是对“双基”知识的一个考查,可以说基本上是考查基本功的,当然我们也要注意,这其中对话类的应用题目也呈逐年上升的趋势。总分15分,官方建议完成时间是十分钟。这一部分要力争拿到10分以上。 第三部分是完形填空,也是我认为全卷除了智力测试以外最难的题目,题型包括根据上下文填空、根据给出的首字母填空、根据给出的单词的适当形式填空。分值是十分,官方建议完成时间是10分钟。这题不仅考查你的基本词汇语法知识,也考查你对文章的理解和把握。可以说是阅读+词汇的结合。要拿高分很难,但是其实还是有一些分好拿的,这一部分我们要力争拿到4分以上。 第四部分是阅读理解,总分40分,官方建议完成时间是25分钟。这是全卷分值最大的一道大题,也是时间最紧的。我估计绝大多数同学在25分钟内都没办法全部完成(我也很勉强)。这一部分我觉得最重要的还是把握文章的开头和结尾,了解主旨,然后根据题目去快速定位,因为这里的题目大部分都是在原文可以找到答案的。这一部分阅读量大、题型多样(包括选择题、问答题、是/否/未提及题,摘抄题、填空题等)、也是对同学英语应用能力的有力考查,还是要熟能生巧,在平时多加练习,力争达到又对又快的境界,这一部分要力争拿到25分以上。 第五部分是翻译,包括英译汉和汉译英两部分。共20分,官方建议完成时间是15分钟。这一部分可以说是全卷最简单的题型,考查的内容都没超过四级甚至是平常练习的难度,对英译汉,还是要花点时间看看文章开头和结尾,“磨刀不误砍柴工”,很多翻译都要根据上下文进行,才能更加的到位。有时在翻译中遇到生词,也可以根据上下文进行推断。比如今年的汉译英试题中多次提到“dropout”这个单词,我考试时也忘了这是什么意思,最后还是通过文章最后
