Unit 9 Let’s go further

说明:本教学内容教学建议为分两课时,难点容量较多,所以本教学设计把“story time”作为第一课时,同时对“project”和“did you know”进行铺垫,并把“He / She likes sth.”,“He / She likes doing sth.”的第三人称单数动词加“s”放到了第二课时解决。

一、学生情况分析

小学四年级的学生语言技能基础较好。

四年级的学生比较喜欢体育运动,会认识一些世界有名的体育明星。

学生在前两课的学习中学过了运动与本单元的重点句型。

二、教学内容

三、教学目标

(一)语言知识目标

1. 复习句型“Let’s do sth.”,“I like sth.”,“I like doing sth.”,“be good at…”。

2. 复习掌握“I like do-ing sth.”的句型结构。

3. 复习掌握运动项目之间的名称与“-ing形式”的区别。

4. “story time”课文的理解与表演。

(二)语言技能目标

1. 能在情境中谈论运动。

2. 能用英语表演课文。

3. 能用英语交流与用英语写出问题,然后询问别人,训练学生说与写的能力。

(三)情感态度目标

1. 培养学生说英语的兴趣。

2. 培养学生互助合作的精神。

3. 培养学生的创造性思维。

(四)学习策略目标:

1. 以引导为主,让学生更容易掌握知识。

2. 以评价作引子,激发学生的学习兴趣。

3. 以学生感兴趣的明星,激发学生说英语的胆量。

4. 先让学生发现困难,教师再总结,加深知识点在学生中的印象。

(五)文化意识目标:

让学生初步了解本国与外国的一些体育明星的情况,为下一课时作铺垫。

七、教学过程:

(一)课前热身

1. 教师自我介绍

2. 教师示范动作,边做边说

(二)开始上课,利用刚刚的活动进行比赛

学生一边说一边做动作,学生自创一个动作,然后全组跟读,评价

(目的:让学生热身,将其带进课堂,给学生自主权创作,培养学生的创新思维)

(三)句型复习

1)利用课件演示福娃引出运动,训练以下句型,

Teacher:出示句型,在黑板上板书

1. Let’s do sth.

2. I like / don’t like sth.

3. I like /don’t like doing sth.

4. I am good at sth.(doing sth.)

2)利用福娃所表示的运动对以上句型进行操练

3)出示表格

表格内容见附1

让学生读表格里的内容,然后让学生造句。(目的:让学生搞清楚运动项目之间在说法上的区别)4)教师小结

(四)呈现:Story time

利用“Free talk”引入“story time”

1. 布置第一次看的任务:

布置学生第一次看完金太阳“story”后在书本上写出故事的顺序

2. 布置学生第二次看的任务

布置学生看第二次金太阳,让学生完成阅读理解题,并告诉学生准备表演。

3. Read the story

教师每人发一张课文的内容,让学生齐读story

(五)发展

1. 想象:

让学生猜猜结局:(可选问)

1)Judy likes sports now, what does she want to do?

2)Does she want to play basketball?

3)Does she want to play badminton?

可以让学生提更多的问题,教师作答或让学生回答

2. 接着上面的游戏,教师给出提示词和复习的句型让学生表演课文,注意要让学生理解故事和说出顺序,然后结局可以由学生自己创作。

3. 采访体育明星:

利用“story”问问题:Do you like sports? What / Which is your favourite sport? What / Which sport are you good at?

然后进行采访活动,教师戴着体育明星的面具,让学生担任小记者(reporter)运用所学句型与问句,对相应得体育明星进行采访。

步骤:

开始前先不要告诉学生有哪些明星,让学生自己猜测。

给时间学生进行准备,在准备的过程当中教师可适当进行指导,并告诉学生可以除了运用本单元的句型外,还可以用以前学过的句型。

教师戴上面具扮演体育明星,然后让各个小组进行比赛,整个小组的成员都可以一起走出来,站列在明星前当记者进行采访,看哪个小组的记者多,提的问题多,就可得高分。

可让一些学生戴上明星面具扮演明星,教师和其他同学一起对其进行采访,教师作指导。

4. 用图片或电影片段介绍各国的擅长运动。

出示一项图片或电影片段,让学生说出哪些国家擅长于这项运动,学生说不出教师作说明;

然后用“be good at…”造句子。

(六)作业

学校要举行运动会,你想参加什么项目,你的同学要参加什么项目?教师说要了解情况,利用所学句型询问同学,填写project的表格
