a friend’s farm是名词所有格形式。

一般情况下,表示“有生命的人或物”的名词后面加’s,表示所属关系。

拓展:名词所有格的构成:

1)单数名词词尾加’s,复数名词词尾没有s,也要加’s

1)seem意为“好像;似乎;看来”。

b. seem+to do sth.“似乎,好像做某事”。 I seem to have a cold.我似乎感冒了。

辨析:try doingsth. / try to do sth.

2.用来修饰名词时可放在形容词前面或后面。

(1)help with sth. 意为“帮助做某事”拓展:help sb. with sth.= help sb. (to)do sth. 帮助某人做某事Eg: I often help him with his English.= I often help him (to) learn English. 我经常帮他学习英语。

(2)housework 意为“家务劳动”。不可数名词。

辨析:sometimes ,some times ,sometime ,some time

sometimes 有时候。=at times也是“有时”的意思。提问用how often

some time 一段时间。常与for连用。对它提问用how long 。
