《大学英语》课程标准 5.1 课程基本信息(表5-1) 表5-1 “大学英语”课程基本信息 5.2 课程性质与任务 5.2.1课程性质 《大学英语》是我院各专业大一学生必修的一门公共基础课,为学生在今后工作中的学习和运用提供了语言基础。本课程遵循“以应用为目的,实用为主,够用为度”的教学思想,服务于高职高专人才培养目标,通过课堂讲授和听、说、读、写、译的综合训练,使学生掌握必备的英语基础知识,提高英语综合运用能力,为学生参加英语AB级考试创造条件,对学生职业能力和职业素质的培养起重要的支撑作用。 5.2.2.课程任务 本课程主要任务是:通过课堂教学的各个环节,运用各种教学方法,使学生掌握一定的英语基础知识和听、说、读、写、译的基本技能,培养学生能够借助词典翻译和阅读有关英语业务资料的综合运用能力,要求学生能够在涉外交际的日常活动和业务活动中进行简单的口头和书面交流,进一步提高人文素养和职业意识,同时增强其自主学习的能力,为今后的职业发展和终身学习奠定良好的基

础,以适应我国经济发展和国际交流的需要。 5.3课程目标 通过本课程的学习,使学生较好的掌握英语基础知识,具有一定的听、说、读、写、译的能力,同时培养学生对英语语言文化的理解力和敏感性,提高学生使用语言的技能以及自主学习的能力,从而在涉外交际活动和就业需要中进行简单的口头和书面交流,并为今后继续提高英语交际能力打下良好基础。 5.3.1 知识目标 A1:提高学生的听、说、写能力。 A2:掌握基本句型。 A3:掌握课文中的关键词,如appear to be,go public,in addition to。 A4:掌握课文中的语言知识点。 A5:掌握信封的基本格式。 A6:了解简单的西方餐桌礼仪,提高英语听力水平。 A7:掌握文章《饭桌生意经》的大意以及布局。 A8:学习并理解文章《饭桌生意经》的重难点词汇及句式。 A9:掌握英语邀请函的书写格式。 A10:学生通过查阅与讨论的形式解决课后习题。 A11:掌握运输安全标识的英文表达。 A12:熟悉五种常见运输方式的优势与弊端。 A13:加强对定语从句的语法规则的学习。 A14:通过对英文招聘信息的学习,掌握求职广告的五大方面(职位描述,公司介绍,资格条件,联系信息等方面)。

《大学》(中英文) The Great Learning By Confucius Written ca. 500 B.C.E 总纲(右经一章,盖孔子之言,而曾子述之;其传十章,则曾子之意,而门人记之也。旧本颇有错简,今因程子所定,而更考经文,别为序次如左。) (凡传十章:前四章统论纲领指趣;後六章细论条目工夫。其第五章乃明善之要。第六章乃诚身之本,在初学;尤为当务之急。读者不可以其近而忽之也)『1』大学之道在明明德,在亲民,在止於至善。 What the great learning teaches, is to illustrate illustrious virtue; to renovate the people; and to rest in the highest excellence. 『2』知止而後有定;定而後能静;静而後能安;安而後能虑;虑而後能得。 The point where to rest being known, the object of pursuit is thendetermined; and, that being determined, a calm unperturbedness may be attained to. To that calmness there will succeed a tranquil repose. In that repose there may be careful deliberation, and that deliberation will be followed by the attainment of the desired end. 『3』物有本末;事有终始。知所先後则近道矣。 Things have their root and their branches. Affairs have their endand their beginning. To know what is first and what is last will lead near to what is taught in the Great Learning. 『4』古之欲明明德於天下者先治其国。欲治其国者先齐其家。欲齐其家者先修其身。欲修其身者先正其心。欲正其心者先诚其意。欲诚其意者先致其知。致知在格物。 The ancients who wished to illustrate illustrious virtue throughoutthe kingdom, first ordered well their own states. Wishing to order welltheir states, they first regulated their families. Wishing to regulatetheir families, they first cultivated their persons. Wishing to cultivate their persons, they first rectified their hearts. Wishing to rectify their hearts, they first sought to be sincere in their thoughts. Wishing to be sincere in their thoughts, they first extended to the utmost their knowledge.
