如何写通知

本单元的话题是学校生活,但是中心任务是要求学生能够写一则有关校园活动的通知。本单元的写作题目基本上都是围绕着有关学校生活来命题的。

通知是上级对下级、组织对成员或平行单位之间部署工作、传达事情或召开会议等所使用的应用文。通知的写法有两种,一种是以布告形式贴出,把事情通知给有关人员,如学生、观众等,通常不用称呼;另一种是以书信的形式发给有关人员,此种通知写作形式等同于普通书信,只要写明通知的具体内容即可。通知要求言简意赅、措辞得当、时间及时。

1.布告形式的通知

通常此类通知上方正中写Notice或NOTICE(通知),发出通知的单位的具体名称可放在正文前,也可放在正文后的右下角处,发出通知的日期写在左下角处。书信形式的通知格式和一般书信类似。

2.口头通知

口头通知是面对面地把事情传达给对方。一般不用落款和日期。发布口头通知时,应注意以下几个问题:

(1)由于口头通知是通过口头表达的,因此,在正文之前,往往有称呼语,如:Boys and girls,Comrades(同志们),Ladies and gentlemen等。开场白一般这样说:Attention,please!/May I have your attention,please?/Be quiet,please!/Listen,please!I have something important to tell you.

(2)结尾要给听众结束通知的信号,如:That's all./Thank you so much for it./Thank you.

(3)口头通知的内容应讲清楚时间、地点、活动内容及注意事项。

3.书面通知

书面通知是以布告、张贴的形式出现,常常是张贴在显眼的位置,以引起公众的注意。为了醒目,标题的每个字母常大写。

书面通知的格式:

(1)标题:在正文上面正中的地方写上NOTICE。

(2)正文:包括具体的时间、地点、活动内容和注意事项。

(3)单位:发通知的单位一般写在正文的右下角。有时也放于标题之上,起强调作用。

(4)时间:一般写在左下角。

书面通知语言比较规范,切忌使用模糊语言和俚语、俗语。通知中一般无称呼语,常用第三人称,且被动语态使用较多。

4.书面通知与口头通知常用表达

口头通知:Everyone should be there on time./Be sure not to be late./Please be present on time./Be sure to attend it on time.

书面通知:Everyone is required to be present on time./Everybody is expected to attend it on time.

书面通知的以下套语也需注意:
