A Wavelet Based Approach for Fast Detection of Internal Fault in Power Transformers The power transformer is one of the most expensive elements of power system and its protection is an essential part of the overall system protection strategy. The differential protection provides the best protection for power transformer. Its operation principle is based on this point that the differential current during an internal fault is higher than normal condition. But, a large transient current (inrush current) can cause mal-operation of differential relays. Then, studies for the improvement of the transformer protection have focused on discrimination between internal short circuit faults and inrush currents in transformers. The magnetizing inrush current has a large second order harmonic component in comparison to internal faults. Therefore , some transformer protection systems are designed to halt operating during the inrush current by sensing this large second order harmonic. The second harmonic component in the magnetizing inrush currents tend to be relatively small in modern large power transformers because of improvements in the power transformer core materials. Also , it has been seen that the fault current can contain higher second order harmonics than the inrush current due to nonlinear fault resistance, CT saturation .the distributed capacitance in the transmission line, which transformer is connected to, or due to the use of extra high voltage underground cables. Various methods have been suggested for overcoming this protection system mal-operation. This paper presents a wavelet based method for discrimination among inrush current, internal short circuit ,external short circuit and energizing and it is not affected by CT saturation and it is able to detect internal faults while transformer energization. Unlike Artificial Neural Network and Fuzzy logic based algorithms. This approach is not system dependent. The operating time of the scheme is less than 10ms. The Daubechies mother wavelet is used with a sample rate of 5 kHz. Then , the differential currents of the three phases are decomposed into two details and only the second level will be considered by using db5 mother wavelet. Discrete Wavelet Transform The wavelet transform is a powerful tool to extract information from the non-stationary signals simultaneously in both time and frequency domains. 摘要:林语堂是一名卓有成就的翻译家,他的翻译观有效地促进了我国译学的发展。本文以林语堂的忠实、通顺和美的标准为指导,来赏析他的译作《声声慢》,揭示其翻译理论在实践中的运用,加深对其翻译观的理解。 关键词:林语堂;《声声慢》;赏析 [中图分类号]:h315.9 [文献标识码]:a [文章编号]:1002-2139(2011)-24-0265-01 一、林语堂的翻译观 林语堂学贯中西,深谙东西方文化,语言学、文学造诣极深,一生致力于“两脚踏东西文化一心评宇宙文章”,写作和翻译了大量文学作品,为传播中国文化、促进中西方文化交流做出了杰出贡献。林语堂一生中发表过不少翻译理论方面的文章,然而最系统最有分量的当数《论翻译》。该文章,是他为吴曙天编选的《翻译论》一书所作的绪论,后来又收入写于1933林氏的《语言学论丛》一书中。 (李晓红,2007,p.82) 在《论翻译》中,林语堂首先提出了“忠实、通顺、美”的翻译标准。林语堂提到,“翻译的标准问题大概包括三方面……,第一是忠实标准,第二是通顺标准,第三是美的标准。”林语堂还进一步阐述了这三条翻译标准。他提出,“忠实”的程度大致可以分为四等:直译、死译、意译、胡译。关于翻译的“忠实标准”,林氏认为译者所忠实的是乃零字所组者的话意,并表明译者所能达到的忠实是比较的忠实,而不是绝对的忠实。关于翻译的“通顺标准”,林氏认为译者以句为单位,详细体会其意义,将其翻译成有意义的中国话。关于“美的标准”,林氏说道:“翻译于用之外,还有美一方面必须兼顾的,理想的翻译家应当将其工作做一种艺术,以爱艺术之心爱它,以对艺术谨慎不苟之心对它,使翻译成为美术之一种。”(何苏明,2010,p.104) 林语堂将鲁迅的三美扩大为五美,在他看来,“文字有音美,意美,神美,气美,形美。”——“译者或顾其义而忘其神,或得其神而忘其体,决不能把文义,文神,文气,文体及音乐之美完全同时译出。”他在1923 年所撰的《论翻译》一书中着重强调:“对于诗文小说之类,译者不译此书则已,此等书则与运用之外不得不注意于文字之美的问题”。(王明明,2007,p.216) 二、李清照《声声慢》林语堂的英译文赏析 李清照是南宋前期婉约派的代表人物,是中国文学史上最杰出的女词人。她的词婉约清雅,落笔无声,余味悠长,用一个女性敏感而细腻的笔触描景怀,平中见奇,使她的词千百年来至今仍脍炙人口,广为流传。《声声慢》一词一题“秋情”,为李清照晚年所作名篇之一。时值外敌入侵,家破人亡,伤国,悲夫,愁己之情抑郁于胸,诗人借词抒怀,将晚年孤苦无依的愁怀尽释笔端,这首词无论遣词造句还是布局谋篇,均见笔力超群,自然率真,毫无斧凿之痕。虽写个人哀愁,但笔力凌厉,把那种排山倒海的“愁”,表现的铿锵有力,“婉”中“劲”来。词为双调(片,阕),八句,上下片各五仄韵。其音乐性强,善用叠字,形象生动,读起来朗朗上口,极富美感。 首先看词牌名:《声声慢》。 原词:声声慢/ 林译:forlorn 对大多数词作来说, 词牌与音乐或词中的内容关系并不大, 词牌在一般意义上不过是表明作者是依哪一种现成的曲谱进行填词而已。“慢”有篇幅较长、语言节奏舒缓、韵脚间隔较大等特点。但,《声声慢》确属例外。词中不过短短20 多字, 却含不少齐齿音和舌尖音, 它们相互交叠, 浅吟低唱。这是词人有意为之, 用这样的声调来诉说自己内心的惆怅。由此可见, 这一词牌不仅关系着词的节奏, 而且还关系着词的内容。此处的“慢”不是指调之长短, 而是指词节奏之快慢。(周舟,2007,p.84) 林语堂将其译为“forlorn”,通过题目就奠定了全词忧伤、凄凉的基调,仿佛浮现出女词人在凄风苦雨中孤苦无依,满目愁容的萧瑟画面。 原词:寻寻觅觅,冷冷清清,凄凄惨惨戚戚。
