One of my wonderful memories is about a Christmas gift. Unlike other gifts, it came without wrap(包装).

From the upstairs window, I watched my parents rush out to the car. I had never seen them so happy. And I was also full of joy. What a wonderful day! My baby doll would be home. I ran downstairs. My socks still hung there flat. But I knew they were not empty; they were filled with love!

Almost everyone likes to eat apples. Apples grow in nearly every part of the world; The United States produces more apples than any other country except France. So you can easily get “apple polisher”. Whil e “in apple-pie order” usually has the same meaning as “in good order”.It is likely that you hear about “compare apples and oranges”. It had been some time since Jack had seen the old man. College, career, and life itself got in the way. In fact, Jack moved all the time across the country to achieve his dreams. There, in the rush of his busy life, Jack had little time to think about the past and often no time to spend with his wife and son. He was working on his future, and nothing could stop him.
Over the phone, his mother told him, “Mr. Besler died last night. The funeral (葬礼) is Wednesday.” Memories fl ashed through his mind like an old newsreel as he sat quietly remembering his childhood days.
“Jack, did you hear me?”
“Oh, sorry, Mom. Yes, I heard you. It’s been so long since I thought of him. I’m sorry, but I honestly thought he died years ago,” Jack s aid.
“Well, he didn’t forget you. Every time I saw him, he’d ask how you were doing. He’d reminisce (回忆) about the many days you spent over ‘his side of the fence’ as he put it,” Mom told him.
You know, Jack, after your father died, Mr. Besler stepped in to make sure you had a man’s influence in your life,” she said.
“He’s the one who taught me carpentry (木工). I wouldn’t be in this business if it weren’t for him. He spent a lot of time teaching me things he thought were important… Mom, I’ll be there for the funeral,” Jack said.
Busy as he was, he kept his word. Jack caught the next flight to his hometown. Mr. Besler’s funeral was small and uneventful (平凡的). He had no children of his own, and most of his relatives had passed away.
The night before he had to return home, Jack and his Mom stopped by to see the old house next door one more time, which was exactly as he remembered. Every step held memories. Every picture, every piece of furniture… Jack stopped suddenly.
“What’s wrong, Jack?” his Mom asked.
“The box is gone,” he said.
“What box?” Mom asked.
“There was a small gold box that he kept locked on top of his desk. I must have asked him a thousand times what was inside. All he’d ever tell me was ‘the thing I value most’,” Jack said.
It was gone. Everything about the house was exactly how Jack remembered it, except the box. He figured someone from the Besler family had taken it.
“Now, I’ll never know what was so valuable to him,” Jack said sadly.
Returning to his office the next day, he found a package on his desk. The return address caught his attention.
“Mr. Harold Besler” it read.
Jack tore open the package. There inside was the gold box and an envelope. Jack’s hands shook as he read the note inside.
“Upon my death, please forward this box and its contents to Jack Bennett. It’s the thing I valued most in my life.” A small key was taped to the letter. His heart racing, and tears filling his eyes, Jack carefully unlocked the box. There inside he found a beautiful gold pocket watch. Running his fingers slowly over the fine cover, he opened it.
Inside he found these words carved: “Jack, thanks for your time! Harold Belser.”
“Oh, My God! This is the thing he valued most…”
Jack held the watch for a few minutes, then called his assistant and put off his appointments to the next week. “Why?” his assistant asked.
“I need some time to spend with my son,” he said.

发改委PPP项目案例四：固安工业园区新型 城镇化项目 一、项目概况 （一）项目背景 固安工业园区地处河北省廊坊市固安县，与北京大兴区隔永定 河相望，距天安门正南 50 公里，园区总面积 34.68 平方公里，是经 国家公告（2006 年）的省级工业园区。 2002 年固安县政府决定采用市场机制引入战略合作者，投资、 开发、建设、运营固安工业园区。同年 6 月，通过公开竞标，固安 县人民政府与华夏幸福基业股份有限公司（简称“华夏幸福公司”） 签订协议，正式确立了政府和社会资本（PPP）合作模式。按照工 业园区建设和新型城镇化的总体要求，采取“政府主导、企业运作、合作共 赢”的市场化运作方式，倾力打造“产业高度聚集、城市功 能完善、生态环境优美”的产业新城。目前，双方合作范围已拓展 至固安新兴产业示范区和温泉休闲商务产业园区。 （二）建设内容与规模 固安工业园区 PPP 新型城镇化项目，是固安县政府采购华夏幸 福在产业新城内提供设计、投资、建设、运营一体化服务。 1.土地整理服务。配合以政府有关部门为主体进行的集体土地 征转以及形成建设用地的相关工作。2008-2013 年，华夏幸福累计完成土地整理 29047.6 亩，累计投资 103.8 亿元。
