说课稿

(九年级英语第5单元第1课时)

Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen,It’s my honor to stand here to talk about my teaching ideas. My topic is SectionA 1a-1c in Unit5 of Grade 9.

My presentation consists of five parts: the analysis of the students, the analysis of the teaching material, teaching procedures, blackboard design and teaching reflection. First, let’s talk about the students. They are in Class Nine, Grade Nine. Most of them love English. In my class, they are very active and enjoy cooperation. They have some skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing. They have learned the phrase be made of and it is easy for them to make sentences with it.

Next, let’s talk about the teaching materials. I divide it into four parts: teaching targets, emotion aims, important points and difficult points, teaching methods and aids.

There are three teaching targets. After this class, students will be able to use the new words, phrases and sentence patterns. They will know how to find the key points when listening. They can also talk about the products fluently.

Here are the words, phrases and sentence patterns we are going to learn. Words are coin, chopstick, fork, and so on. The phrases are be made of and be made in. The sentence patterns are : This coin is made of silver. The chopsticks are made of wood. and so on. There are two emotion aims in this class. The first one is that students know the colorful world through knowing different kinds of materials and then love the world more. The second one is that students know that what we have is the result of working hard and it is worth cherishing. In this class, I will especially ask the students to love the things in our school.

The important points are the words, phrases and sentence patterns. The most difficult for students is to talk about the products fluently.

I will use many different kinds of teaching methods in this class. The communicative approach, task-based teaching method, cooperative learning method, incentive approach and guided method will be frequently used. I will use the computer, blackboard, chalk, task paper and a kite to help me finish this class.

Then let’s talk about the most important part teaching procedures. First, I’d love to tell you my thoughts about how to design this lesson. I set a situation that there is a science fair outside the school museum. We talk about it from three tasks. The first task is that we talk about what the science fair has. In this part, we learn the new words and sentence patterns. It includes 3 steps: warming up and lead-in, presentation and pairwork. The second is that Susan and Anita talk about what Susan bought from different fairs. In the part, we mainly listen to their conversations carefully. It is the listening time. The last task is that we talk about what we will take to the science fair. It is time to do groupwork. Then we will make a summary. In the end, I will give the students some homework.

Now, let’s talk about the teaching procedures in details. In Task one, step one, I will show them a picture of the science fair and tell them there are many very interesting things there. Then I will show another two pictures: the special desk and the beautiful ring and
